2. COURSE’S BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
International Commerce Transactions is designed to introduce to students the basis
and crucial issues of international commercial transactions (ICT), that is the transactions
between entities operating across national borders. The students have the possibility to
get familiar with all aspects concerning ICT: basic concepts of ICT, knowledge of the
types of ICT, international commercial terms, clauses in international sales contracts
and technique of export – import operation.

3. COURSE OBJECTIVE:
After completing the module, students explain and apply basic knowledge of
international commerce about international business transactions, sources of law on
international sales contract, international transportation …They are able to apply
theories into explaning, analyzing, predicting and solving disputes arising in
international commerce. Students have the necessary competence to negotiate, draft and
organize the implementation of import-export contracts creatively and independently,
or in groups, and take personal responsibility for themselves and with group
performance. At the same time, students can be autonomous, self-responsible and
creative in approaching the profession, withstand pressure on time to complete assigned
tasks.

Students must examine documents, prepare exercises, projectors assigned by lecturers


before coming to class and fully comply with rules on formal university training according to
credits issued by University of Finance-Marketing (under Decision No. 1329/QD-ĐHTCM
