I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards:
The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-American
literature and other text types serve as means of connecting to the world; also,
how to use ways of analyzing one-act play and different forms of verbal for
him/her to skillfully perform in a one-act play.

B. Performance Standards:
The learner skillfully performs in one-act play through utilizing effective
verbal and non-verbal strategies and ICT resources based on the following
criteria: Focus, Voice, Delivery, and Dramatic Conventions.

C. Learning Competencies/Objectives:
At the end of this lesson, the students are expected to:
1. relate Bea's actions to real-life situations, discussing the importance of
bravery and quick thinking in emergencies;
2. demonstrate mastery of new vocabulary through context clues;
3. analyze the radio play’s content by responding to guide questions;
4. demonstrate creativity and communication skills by participating in a
radio role-playing skit; and
5. demonstrate comprehension and analysis of the radio play by
accurately sequencing events in chronological order and discerning the accuracy
of the statements through a true or false exercise.
