1 PURPOSE:
This procedure is to ensure that each succeeding work activity is carried out after internal checks and
compliance through Quality gates at T&D sites.

2 SCOPE:
This process is applicable for T&D (TL & Sub Station) across KEC International Limited for all project sites.

3 RESPONSIBILITY:
1. PRIMARY: Quality Manager/ Project Manager
2. SECONDARY: Quality Engineer/ Project Engineer/Surveyor

4 PROCESS:
The following diagram shows the applicability and criteria for Quality stage gate.

Points to be Ensured:
➢ The above Quality stage gates shall not be bypassed in any condition.
➢ Approval for commencing next activity must only be given after ensuring that all the observations
mentioned in gate checklist are fully complied.
