EES 404 Economic Data Analysis & Computer Simulation
Contact Hours 35
Prerequisites Fundamental of Econometrics I
Aim The main goal of this course is to help students understand the tools and methods applied
in data analysis. The course will demonstrate application of actual and simulated problems
in a wide range of research from economics, business, and social sciences. The key to
understand how statistics and econometrics is research and empirical analysis. Therefore,
students are expected to have a good command in both descriptive and inferential statistics.
Expected Learning Outcomes:
The course will focus on development of strong data analysis skills that students will apply in empirical research analysis in academia
beyond. STATA and/or R programming software will be used throughout the course
