Today we are here to tell the story of the emergence of the team, the transformations and work
developed in the project untill now.
A phrase that has defined the history of our team a lot is: A dream you dream alone is only a
dream that we dream alone, but dream you dream together is reality, as said Raul Seixas. So our
dream began when our Teacher Andressa, our current coach, challenged us to participate from
which would be the greatest Entrepreneurial experience lived untill now, the F1 in Shools
Project. The goal was to turn her students in to entrepreneurs through their dedication and
commitment in the STEAM areas.
Thus the Scuderia Nitroneedles was born in 2022, “Nitro” which comes from nitrous oxide
(related to speed) and “Needles”. Together, they represent something that moves very fast, and
that looks like a needle or fine lines.
Mariana Cardoso:
Through our performance in our first season in São Paulo, we was among the TOP 22 best
scuderias, TOP 8 fastest car to the knockout stage and the best scuderia of São Paulo. Since
then, we prepared for the 2023 Nationals Finals in Brasilia, where we managed to place 18th,
3rd best verbal presentation and maximum score in the project management, and trough to this
performance we were able to qualify for the SESI International Robotics Festival.
Since then, in this new stage, we aim to be among the TOP 3 best teams. Now, after presented
"What is Nitroneedles?", we will present "Who is Nitroneedles?", who was behind the cameras,
working for these achievements to happen.

Giovanna Caron: I am the leadership and the manager, my contributions were
- Take care of the team's organization and activities, applying management tools such as:
Schedule, risk control, communication plan, OKR and the "Schedule of the week". With these
tools I was able to give the team a rhythm, if there is a situation that the team needs help with, I
go there and help to unlock it so that the deadlines are long, sometimes I need to speed up
somewhere, provide support and follow up with someone else. So my role is to delegate these
activities and monitor the progress of the project.
- Regarding what I learned, as a manager I learned that in some areas we had difficulties, it was
necessary to had mentoring to solve these doubts and help with evolution.
I'm Mariana Cardoso, accounting manager, my role in the team was
I’m Evelyn Gonçalves the Chief marketing officer (CMO), my role in the team was take care of
the team's advertising on social medoas
- I manage the use of the visual identity, so how the public sees us
- I’m responsible take care are about the sustentabilitie. In the “Nitro Educa” we take the
education and technology learned in the project to the community. In the “Nitro Delas” we bring
female representation in formula 1. In the ”Nitro Inclusion” we carry out actions related to the
eradication of inequalities.
Learnings
- Through Networking with the companies we had contact and partnership we were able to learn
new things
- By dealing with the monitoring and management of engagement measurement tools, I was
able to acquire experience in social media and communication skill

In general, as you could see by listening to a little of each one, how much the team has grown
up from one year to the next, how much this project has impacted our lives, here everyone feels
much more prepared for the job market, we realize the how much we evolve professionally
through NetWorking.
But it also showed us how much we can contribute a little more to the world, such as our social
actions, which we did not imagine that we would be able to collect almost a ton of food, help
and impact more than 600 people through of our social actions and innovation. If Nitroneedles
one day ceases to exist, it will have a legacy left in the lives of these 600 children impacted
through our social actions, 600 children who will stop perpetuating prejudiced statements. So
this is the most rewarding point for us, because in addition to learning, we can make a
significant contribution to where we go, thus being one of the greatest feelings of gain from the
project.
We would like to take this opportunity to register here a special thanks to our sponsors who
believed and trusted in our team work since the beginning. They were fundamental in our
preparation and technical development in several parts of the project, including providing
resources and participation in the Off Season Festival.

Olá! Estamos aqui hoje para contar à vocês como um projeto pode impactar e transformar a vida
das pessoas, inicialmente pelas mudanças provocadas nos integrantes desta Scuderia e como isto
transcendeu à todos envolvidos, com um objetivo que vai muito além da construção de um carro
para competição. Estamos aqui para mostrar á vocês como este projeto contribuiu na evolução
da competência de 6 jovens, tais como: trabalho em equipe, superação, resiliência e disciplina.
Mostrar também como este projeto trouxe benefícios para a comunidade, instituições e meio
ambiente. Prontos para se juntar a nós nesta corrida? Tenho certeza de que vocês irão adorar.

sozinho, mas sonho que você sonha junto é realidade “
Então nosso sonho começou quando nossa Professora Andressa, nossa atual treinadora, nos
desafiou a participar daquela que seria a maior experiência empreendedora vivida até agora, o
Projeto F1 in Shools. O objetivo era transformar seus alunos em empreendedores através da
dedicação e comprometimento nas áreas STEAM.
Assim nasceu em 2022 a Scuderia Nitroneedles, “Nitro” que vem do óxido nitroso (relacionado
à velocidade) e “Needles”. Juntos, eles representam algo que se move muito rápido e que se
parece com uma agulha ou linhas finas.

Na primeira temporada 21/22, em São Paulo, ficamos entre o TOP 22 do ranking geral.
Na etapa 22/23, em Brasília, conquistamos a 3º melhor apresentação verbal e no Off
Season indicação ao prêmio de melhor desempenho feminino.

Cada evolução e reconhecimento se transformam em combustível para buscar nosso principal

objetivo que é chegar ao Podium.
Agora que vocês já conheceram um pouco do “ que é Nitroneedles?”, falaremos agora “Quem é
a Nitroneedles?”. Quem são os responsáveis por cada engrenagem que faz este veículo
funcionar.

Assim como o volante que dá direção ao carro, a liderança tem papel fundamental em conduzir
o projeto e as pessoas da Scuderia. Desta forma, eu Giovanna, líder e gestora de projetos pude
delegar as atividades e acompanhar o desenvolvimento do projeto através de ferramentas e
metodologias de gerenciamento.
Um dos meus principais aprendizados profissionais foi que antes de ser uma líder de projetos,
eu precisava ser uma líder de pessoas pois através das pessoas que obtemos resultados. Sou
muito grata aos meus técnicos, mentores e minha equipe por ter nos impulsionado a chegar até
aqui.

Assim como a estabilidade que a aerodinâmica proporciona ao carro, a a área de Eng de

Recursos, representada pela Mariana foi responsável por ....
O rádio é uma das peças fundamentais e estratégicas na comunicação, papel este exercido pela
Evelyn no marketing que teve as seguintes contribuições, ...

Assim como o carro não funciona sem a parte humana representada pelo piloto, a Lavínia
responsável pelo Projeto Social teve grande contribuição nas seguintes ações ....

Para obter sucesso neste projeto os integrantes da Scuderia, assim como um carro de F1, tiveram
diversos desafios nesta corrida, onde em cada situação inesperada foi necessário trabalhar como
um time, onde o respeito teve que superar a indiferença, a resiliência ganhar da frustração e a
superação se fazer mais presente que a dificuldade.
O projeto também nos mostrou o quanto podemos contribuir um pouco mais para o mundo, com
as nossas ações sociais, que não imaginávamos que conseguiríamos arrecadar 700 livros, ajudar
e impactar mais de 600 pessoas através da educação e a arte em nossas ações sociais e inovação.
Se um dia a Nitroneedles deixar de existir, deixará um legado na vida dessas 600 crianças que
através da leitura se tornaram adultos melhores. Então esse é o ponto mais gratificante para nós,
pois além de aprender, podemos dar uma contribuição significativa para onde vamos, sendo
assim uma das maiores sensações de ganho com o projeto.
Nesse momento com o coração cheio de gratidão e orgulho gostaríamos de fazer um
agradecimento especial aos nossos apoiadores por acreditaram e confiaram no trabalho da
nossa equipe desde o início. Eles foram fundamentais na nossa preparação e desenvolvimento
técnico em diversas partes do projeto.

Hello! We are here today to tell you how a project can impact and transform people's lives,
initially through the changes experienced by the members of this Scuderia and how this
transcended to all involved, with an objective that goes far beyond the construction of a car for
competition. We are here to show you how this project contributed to the evolution of the
competency of 6 young individuals, such as: teamwork, resilience, discipline, organization,
respect, feedback, and many others, with the support of our coaches, mentors, supporters, and
families. We also want to demonstrate how this project brought benefits to the community,
institutions, and the environment. Are you ready to join us in this race? I'm sure you'll love it.

As Raul Seixas said: "A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is
reality."

So, our dream began when our teacher, Andressa, our current coach, challenged us to be part of
the biggest entrepreneurial experience we had ever had, the F1 in Schools Project. The objective
was to transform her students into entrepreneurs through dedication and commitment in the

In the first 21/22 season, in São Paulo, we ranked among the top 22 overall. In the 22/23 stage,
in Brasilia, we won the 3rd best verbal presentation, and in the Off Season, we were nominated
for the best female performance award.

Each evolution and recognition becomes fuel to pursue our main goal, which is to reach the
podium. Now that you have learned a little bit about what "Nitroneedles" is, we will now talk
about "Who is Nitroneedles?" Who are the responsible individuals for each gear that makes this
vehicle work.

Just as the steering wheel guides the car, leadership plays a crucial role in leading the project
and the people of the Scuderia. Thus, I, Giovanna, as the project leader and manager, was able
to delegate activities and monitor the project's development through management tools and
methodologies. One of my main professional learnings was that before being a project leader, I
needed to be a people leader, as it is through people that we achieve results. I am very grateful
to our coaches, mentors, and my team for propelling us this far.
Like the power of an engine, engineering, represented by Álefe and Davele, plays an important
role...

Precise like brakes in the curves, represented by Mariana, the Resource Engineering area was
responsible...

The radio is one of the fundamental and strategic pieces in communication, a role fulfilled by
Evelin in marketing, with the following contributions...

Just like the car does not run without the human part represented by the driver, Lavínia,
responsible for the Social Project, made great contributions in the following actions...

To succeed in this project, the Scuderia members, like an F1 car, faced various challenges in this
race, where in each unexpected situation, it was necessary to work as a team, where respect had
to overcome indifference, resilience had to overcome frustration, and overcoming had to be
more present than difficulty.

The project also showed us how much more we can contribute to the world, with our social
actions, where we never imagined we could collect 700 books, help and impact more than 600
people through education and art in our social and innovative actions. If one day Nitroneedles
ceases to exist, it will leave a legacy in the lives of these 600 children who, through reading,
became better adults. So, this is the most rewarding point for us, as in addition to learning, we
can make a significant contribution to where we go, thus being one of the greatest senses of gain
from the project.

At this moment, with a heart full of gratitude and pride, we would like to express a special thank
you to our parents, supporters, and especially to SESI for believing in and trusting the work of
our team from the beginning. They were crucial in our preparation and technical development in
various parts of the project.
