TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS: Supply of Indigenous, High pressure, seamless steel, compressed gas
brand new cylinders with Gas, concave bottom as per IS 7285: or related another latest version along
with safety guard (neck ring, cap) and cylinder valve as per IS 3224: 2002 or related another latest
version.

1. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR INDUSTRIAL ARGON CYLINDERS WITH GAS:


Gas cylinders should be as per Indian Standard, IS 7285: or (latest version) complete with neck ring
and follow cylinder rules 2004 by explosive department.

2. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR CYLINDER VALVE:


Valve of gas cylinders should be as per Indian Standard, IS 3224: 2002 or latest version.
Cylinder valve type Operation with cylinder key only.

3. PAINTING OF CYLINDERS:
Painting of gas cylinders should be as per “Gas Cylinders Rule 2004”.

4. Gas Cylinders should have VALVE GUARD which need not be removed for connection or
disconnection of hose/fitting.

5. Cylinders should be marked (engraved), NMHPS for identification and Cylinder Serial Number
which should be same as on the refilling licence/permission certificate.
