INTELLECTUAL GIFTEDNESS
“Intellectually Gifted” means a child whose intellectual abilities, creativity, and potential
for achievement are so outstanding that the child's needs exceed differentiated general
education programming, adversely affects educational performance, and requires
specifically designed instruction or support services.

He didn't learn to talk until he was three, and it is suggested by some that he struggled
with dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyslexia and word finding. When Albert Einstein was still in
school. Disorganized by ADHD, incapable of understanding simple math due to
dyscalculia, and full of big ideas that must have seemed unreal because it would take
Albert Einstein to create the mathematical proofs for them.

PERFORMING ARTS

Performing arts means art forms that are expressed by individuals or groups that involve
performance through multi-sensory experiences, which performances may include, but
need not be limited to, dance, music, theater, and digital or electronic productions.

 Digital Arts and Media Production: Digital arts and media production appeal to those
with interests in technology and visual arts. It can provided self-expression allowing
twice-exceptional individuals to explore storytelling, animation, or video production.

 Storytelling and Narration - 2. Engaging in storytelling or voice acting activities taps


into verbal expression skills. For twice-exceptional individuals, this can enhance
communication and language abilities, providing a structured way to explore
narrative and character development. It allows them to convey thoughts and
emotions through spoken words.

 Art-work Display - 3. helps twice-exceptional people express themselves without


using words, especially if talking is hard for them. It lets them share their strengths
and talents, making them feel proud and boosting their confidence

Providing activities and support for twice-exceptional (2e) individuals and intellectually
gifted individuals is essential to cater to their unique needs and abilities. Tailored
activities help address both their strengths and challenges, creating an environment that
nurtures their talents while offering growth opportunities. Engaging in these activities not
only fosters intellectual development but also contributes to building confidence, social
skills, and a sense of belonging, enabling these individuals to thrive and reach their full
potential.
