PARAGRAPH 1-INTRODUCTION (PARAPHRASING THE TASK)

I am writing this letter to sincerely apologize because I need to stop my volunteer
work (in construction and fixing houses in Chile ) (why) because I am going to
Africa for (the) a new job. However I have already thought about a replacement for
my position that I believe will be ideal. (but my little brother could take my position
in volunteer work.)

PARAGRAPH 2- DESCRIBE THE WORK YOU HAVE BEEN DOING

As I have mentioned before, starting next week, I will be relocating to South Africa
to work together with a Non-Governmental Organization in the construction of
homes and shelters for the underprivileged and poor people. I believe this is a great
opportunity to work with people from all over the world and learn about a new
culture.

PARAGRAPH 3- EXPLAIN WHY YOU CAN NO LONGER DO THIS WORK

Please accept my apologies for the disruption and let me tell you that my brother is
perfect to replace me. He knows how to work in construction, he (is) has worked
with me in the last project (to) fixing the houses in the south of Chile after the last
earthquake. For example he fixed the windows ,door and roofing .

PARAGRAPH 4- RECCOMMEND ANOTHER PERSON WHO IS INTERESTED IN

THE WORK
I hope (I) you understand my situation and also accept my advice to (accept)
consider my little brother for (work) the job. He is very excited about being able to
work for you and the organization
