(b) Humans can 'see' electromagnetic radiation only between the wavelengths of about
4 x 10-7 m and 7 x 10-7 m. Thi s is called the visible part of the spectrum.

A rattlesnake can detect e.m. radiation of frequency 3.5 x 10 14 Hz and a hone ybee can
detect e.m. radiation of 1 x 10 15 Hz.
