ELECTRICAL
NOTES:

A. All electrical works and installations shall comply with the following:
1. Latest edition of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC/NEC)
2. Republic act 7920 otherwise known as the new Electrical Engineering Law
3. National Building Code
4. Fire Code of the Philippines
5. Existing Local Utility Company.
6. Existing city/ municipality ordinances and
7. Requirements of the Bureau of Labor Standards
B. Electrical installation shall be done under the direct supervision of duly registered electrical engineer who shall be
responsible in the interpretation of the design intent, plans, specifications and the require standard of electrical code.
C. All light fixture mounting hardware shall match and be coordinated with the new or existing ceiling system type. All
fixtures shall be equipped with “Earthquake” clips.
D. All fixtures shall be free of light leaks above or below ceiling.
E. Lighting Fixtures with fluorescent tube shall have thermal protector high-power factor ballast. (pre-heat)
F. All indoor wiring shall be installed in electrical metallic tubing (EMT). Armored cable may be used concealed in
hang ceilings and partitions. All outdoor wiring shall be installed in not dipped galvanized rigid steel conduits.
G. Locate the switches approximately 4’-0” above the finished floor elevation or nearest block course (within a.d.a.
requirements), unless otherwise indicated. The long dimensions of the switches shall be vertical.
H. Mounting heights for all wiring devices and panel boards shall be as:
1. Manual transfer switch 1.8m on top above floor finish
2. Convenience outlet 0.5m above floor finish
3. Panel boards and cabinets 1.8m on top above floor finish
I. Provide grounding and neutral wire to all outlets and light circuits. All non-current carrying metal parts shall be
