Example1: A BLDC motor has a stall torque of 1.2 Nm with a current of 6
A. Find its no load speed when fed from a 30 V DC supply. During an
overload, the magnetic loss is 12%. Find the speed if the load torque is 0.5
Nm. Neglect friction and windage losses. The armature resistance is 1 Ω.

Example2: A three phase 4-pole BLDC motor has 36 slots. Armature
winding is made o three coils per phase per pole. Each coil has 20 turns. The
coil is chorded by 2 slots. Flux per pole is 1.8 mWb. Find the no load back
emf at 3000 rpm.
