Title: How God Speaks

Text: Psalm 32: 8, 9

1. God, who at sundry times and in diverse manners spake in time past unto
the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath
appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Introduction:
Communication is an expression of LOVE:
Paano po ba nagsasalita o nagpapahiwatig ang Diyos? How does God speaks to
us?
Well Napakarami pong paraan at alam na ang Bible was written by Asian people
(mga taga silangan) na mahilig sa mga talinghaga. Kaya kung minsan nagsasalita
na ang Diyos di pa rin natin maunawaan dahil nga sa talinghaga.
(Example: Parables of Jesus Christ- “He that an ear let him hear”)
Kaya po di maunawaan ang mensahe ng Panginoon ay maraming mga distraction
sa ating paligid. Minsan po ay mas malakas ang sigaw ni Satan kaya mas madaling
makaagaw ng pansin sa atin.

Napakahalaga na makita po natin sa Bibliya na kinakausap ng Diyos ang kanyang

mga anak. How does God Speaks?

1. God speaks to His People (Psalm 32: 8)

I will instruct thee, and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will
guide thee with mine eye.

Tagalog: “Aking ipaaalam sa iyo at ituturo sa iyo ang daan na iyong

lalakaran, papayuhan kita na ang aking mga mata, ay nakatitig sa
iyo.”

Kung sa gayon ang Diyos ay nagsasalita. Kaya lang kung minsan ang salita
ng Panginoon ay hindi laging verbal. Parang sa tin din po sa kapwa tao natin
na nakapagcommunicate tayo even without using any words. Kaya kailangan
SENSITIVE tayo’t magaling makiramdam.

Kaya nga once more going to eastern culture na tayo kaya matatalas
makiramdam kasi marami tayong non-verbal communication at marami
tayong mga talinghaga.
(sa kabayo ang hataw, sa kalabaw ang latay) meaning nagagalit sayo pero
sa iba nakabaling, kaya kung ikaw ay manhid, imbes na ikaw ay yung pusa
na nanahimik ay ang nasipa… nararamdaman nyan ng taong sensitib.
That’s why it is also important na WHEN GOD speaks, alam natin na
kinakausap tayo.

a. God speaks through His Words -sa pamamagitan ng kanyang

salita.

Every word in the Bible is God’s word to us. Scripture is God

speaking to us, revealing himself to us, leading us in his ways.

God is OMNISCIENT (All knowing GOD)- alam na ng Diyos ang

lahat lahat lahat, hindi pa man nangyayari. Ang lahat ng iisipin at
itatanong ng tao. At sinagot na nya lahat sa Bibliya

Akala ng iba ang Bibliya ay isa lang ancient literature na hindi na

bagay sa makabagong panahon. Ang hindi nila maunawaan ay sinulat
ng Diyos ang Bible na hindi naikukulong ng panahon.

That God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow (God is

Immutable, God never change) Therefore, ang sinabi nya kahapon ay
sasabihin nya ngayon at sasabihin nya bukas.

Ang bawal noon, ay bawal ngayon, ay bawal bukas. Ang utos noon, ay
utos ngayon at utos bukas. Maliban nalang na may mga inutos ang
Diyos sa old testament na naiba na sa new testament.

Hindi nagbago ang Diyos. Siguro nagbago lang ang kanyang

pakikitungo sa tao dahil nagbago ang sitwasyon ng tao.

Pero yong kanyang diwa, pamamaraan o ideya at ang kanyang

kabanalan hindi yon nagbabago.

Hindi po makaluma ang Diyos dahil ang Diyos ay hindi naluluma.

Ang hamon sa ating lahat ay makita natin yung mga napapanahon at

makabagong lapat nung mga dating nasabi na.

Psalm 119:24 Thy testimonies also are my delight and my

counsellors.
Psalm 119-105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my
path.
The testimonies of God (Bible) counsel us, lead us, and guide us in the ways
of God.

 God speaks Through Pulpit- where the word of God is expounded…the

word of God is for all, akala nang tao minsan ay para sa iba ung
mensahe. Dapat lahat po tayo ay nakikinabang sa salita ng Diyos.
 Ang salita ng Diyos ay iba iba ang lapat at iba iba ang lalim ng
application sa ating buhay. Pero hindi po pwedeng hindi para sa inyo
sa isang araw. Pag ang Diyos ang nagsasalita sa atin ibig sabihin yung
gusto nya ang dapat masunod total sya naman ang nakakaalam ng
Mabuti.

 God speaks through His Word-

 kung sinasabi nyong di kayo kinakausap ng Diyos siguro baka di

kayo nababasa ng Bible
 siguro hindi tayo nagbabasa ENOUGH
 o nagbabasa tayo para sa iba… para sa kaibigan, para sa kapatid
ko ito, akala mo para sa iba

(2 Timothy 3:16)
16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable
for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness:

17. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto
all good works.

b. God speaks through People

1. Prophet: Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in diverse
manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

WARNING: False Prophet:

 Matthew 7:15- Beware of false prophets, which come to
you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are
ravening wolves.
 Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise,
and shall deceive many.

A false prophet is a person who spreads false teachings or messages

while claiming to speak the Word of God. (1 John 4:1-3 tells us
that anyone who does not confess Jesus Christ
has come in the flesh from God is a false
prophet)In the Bible, false prophets also spoke on behalf of false
gods. False prophets functioned in their prophetic role illegitimately or
for the purpose of deception. The Bible denounces false prophets for
leading people astray.

2. Pastors: Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you pastors according to

mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and
understanding.

Ephesians 4: 11-12 And he gave some, apostles; and some,

prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and
teachers;

12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ:
 3. Preachers and Teachers:
Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not
believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not
heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
2 Timothy 1: 11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an
apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

Ephesians 4: 11: 12 And he gave some, apostles; and some,

prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the
edifying of the body of Christ:

God speaks through His word and God speaks through His People – para malaman
natin na totoo ang sinasabi ng Taong nangangaral ay iba-validate natin sa WORD.
Hindi po pwedeng sinbi ng Diyos ay sabihin ng tao Y. dapat po ay hindi nag
lalabanan sapagkat ang Espiritu na nagsulat sa Bibliya ay Espiritu din na
nagsasalita. Kaya dapat kapag may turo ang mangangaral ang pamantayan ay ang
Bibliya.

CONCLUSION

When God speaks listen and listen to obey Matthew 4;4 But he answered
and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word
that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Ang tanong kinakausap po ba tayo ng Diyos? Syempre po hwag po tayong

mag maang maangan, patay malisya, hwag magpanggap na di natin
naririnig parang yung batang naglalaro na sabi ng nanay halika, pero
tinutuloy pa rin ang kanyang ginagawa. Kung ang human parents ay sundin
ay mas lalo naming sundin ang spiritual parents God speak to you right now!
