INTERDISCIPLINARY PROJECT SOCIAL SCIENCE GRADE 10 2023-24

1. The Early Post-War Years: The role of Waterways and Airways

• The teacher distributes the Handout 1 given below to the groups and asks them
to find answers to the questions posed at the end of Hand out and present it in
groups using Café conversations mode. Refer Annexure III for rubrics.
• Study the challenges faced by the world in the early post-war years
• Discuss the efforts made towards decolonization and independence of nations

2. End of Bretton Woods and the Beginning of Globalization:

• The students will read material given in the link

3. Impact of Globalization in India and role of Waterways and Airways in

Globalisation of India.
