Objective: To improve your use of the 4 skills at a B1 level and get used to the OET exam
while practicing reported speech.
Topic / competencies to achieve: To develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing at a B1
level according to the CEFR while practicing reported speech.

Instructions:
This activity consists of 5 parts. You will upload ONE word document with what is asked in
each of them.
Exercise 8

III. Choose the word that is closest in meaning to the following words/expressions from the

PART 1: Listening

Exercise 8

PART 4: Speaking: Gossip show.

VII. Pretend that you are the host of a famous Gossip Show. Record a 2 – 3-minute video
reporting gossip (fake gossip) about your classmates. Make sure you use reported speech,
and at least 1 reported sentence, 1 reported WH question, 1 reported yes/no question, and 1
reported command. You can use TikTok, Reels, or any other app of your choice. Post the link
to your video in your Word document.

PART 5: OET Practice.

finish, take a screen shot of the confirmation message and post it in your Word document.
