Objective: To practice a variety of activities based on elemental grammar structures and
vocabulary from your English I course to improve your skills in the four areas of language as
an A1 Level student, so that you can be prepared for the Oxford English Test.
Theme / competencies to achieve: To develop your listening, speaking, reading, and writing
skills as an A1 level student according to the CEFR while practicing the verb “to be” in simple
present, the subject pronouns, and the use of definite and indefinite articles. 
 
Instructions:
This activity consists of 5 parts. When you finish each activity, take a screen shot of your
results and you upload ONE word document of your results.

Please read the instructions carefully.

Activity 1: The verb to be-Affirmative statements.

a. In the next exercise, you will practice the grammar structure of the verb to be to form

since that is the number of times the Oxford English Test will let you hear the recording.
