Rule book & Important Details Phase 1 : (2nd March to 8th March)

1. Each team will have a wallet of total worth 50 Crores (virtual currency) which they have to use
during the auction.
2. Auction for students teams and staff-faculty teams will be done separately.
3. Auction window will be live on 27th February (TUESDAY) (2:00-5:00)PM(refer section 3).
1. The base price of players will be set by the players themselves during filling their respective
registration forms for the subsequent auction window (refer section 3).
2. The minimum base price for each player will be 20 Lakhs.
3. The maximum base price for any previous Rann-neeti/Inter-IIT players will be 2 Crores
(one from 2 Crores, 1.5 Crores, 1 Crore, 75 Lakhs, 50 Lakhs, 40 Lakhs, 30 Lakhs, 20
Lakhs).
4. The maximum base price for others will be 1 crore (one from 1 Crore, 75 Lakhs, 50 Lakhs,
40 Lakhs, 30 Lakhs, 20 Lakhs).
5. Minimum bid price increment rules are as follows: 10 lakhs increment upto 1 crores, 20
lakhs increment upto 5 crores, 50 lakhs increment after 5 crores.
6. A team can bid for a player as much as they want to spend on him depending on their remaining
wallet money.
7. If a player gets unsold once his name is called then only if any of the captains want a re-auction
for him in the same auction window then his name can be called again (but only once in a
auction window). In this case, his base price will get reduced to 50% of his actual base price until
a minimum of 20 Lakhs.
8. An unsold/released player may rejoin the next auction window if he wants. In that case he needs
to contact the Cricket coordinator and skip refilling of the registration form for the next auction
window.
9. An re-auction for a player in the same auction window may occur as per the demand of a team
Captain but all re-auctions will happen only at the end of the normal auctions in that auction
window.
1. Each team can release their players as per the final decision of their respective Captain and
Vice-Captain.
2. If a player is released before 24 hours of auction then the team will get 75% worth of his bidding
price.
3. If a player is released on the day of auction before the start of the auction then the team will get
only 50% worth of his bidding price.
4. Players released on the day of auction can be called for a re-auction in the same auction window
if any of the captains (including the one who released him) wants to bid for that player. Else
they’ll have to apply during the next auction window, if available.
5. No player can be released during the auction window.

1. Points System:
a. Winning a match: 2 points
b. No result: 1 point
c. Losing a match: 0 point
2. Points percentage = (Total points scored * 50)/(Total no of matches played)
3. Net Run Rate is calculated by deducting from the average runs per over scored by that team
throughout the competition, the average runs per over scored against that team throughout the
competition.
