1. Objective
The purpose of this document is to provide steps for configuring the consumption limit
for the new anomaly “AF419: Consumption out of Tariff and District Limit”.

2. How it works:
1. A MONTHLY_MAX_LIMIT of consumption is defined per tariff and district. The limit
will be the maximum expected consumption for one month.
 This maximum will be only for active energy types kWh, no validation of
apparent or maximum demand. In case of Time of use tariffs, the maximum
would be on the total consumption regardless the time of use.
 This maximum would be applicable for prepayment, post payment and AMR
meters.

2. The validation would work as follows:

PERIOD_MAX_LIMIT = MONTHLY_MAX_LIMIT * number of days current bill / 30

If CONSUMPTION_CURRENTBILL > PERIOD_MAX_LIMIT -> Then, the anomaly

is generated.

3. Steps
Proceed as follows:

DB Maintenance > Billing > Billing Anomalies

The window will open as shown below:

Begin by first selecting the district and tariff. The highlighted fields will require you
to select from the options available in the drop down menu.

Click on the “Retrieve Data” icon . The information on the window will be
filtered based on your criteria.

Click on the “Edit” icon and select the tab “Coefficient Definition” as shown:

Enter the new value for consumption in the indicated field and click on the “Save”
icon

A confirmatory message will appear. Click “Yes” to proceed:

The new consumption limit will be saved and will appear as shown:
