Homeostasis
First described by Claude Bernard in
1865, a French physiologist,
However, the term was coined later
in 1962 by the American physiologist
Walter Bradford Cannon
Homeostasis is a self-
regulating process by which a
living organism can maintain
internal stability while
adjusting to changing external
conditions.
