1. If genetics was never been discovered, what do you think will happen to humans
and other living organisms? (5 pts)
If genetics was never been discovered, we will not know that it can help us to
understand why people look the way they do and why some people are more
prone to certain disease that others. We will not also know that it helps a lot to
the health-care professionals to identify certain conditions in babies before they
born using techniques such as prenatal testing.
Also, we will not know that gene is the basic heredity in a living organism and it
comes from our parents. We will not know that it contains the data needed to
build and maintain cells and pass genetic information to offspring.
