ARGABUFFER 65

Argabuffer 65 is a pH stabilizer for all kinds of textiles. It buffers the fabric to neutral
pH.

Solubility Easily soluble in water
Compatibility Compatible with non-ionic and anionic auxiliaries
Storage One year at 0℃--40℃ in a hermetically sealed container

ADVANTAGES
 Buffers the fabric at neutral pH.
 Reduces shade change and yellowing when heat setting at high temperatures.
 Avoids pH fluctuations in the fabric, whiteness and color change during storage.
 Reduces weather marks on fabrics.
 Non foaming.
 Easy to use, reduces pH and color change caused by inaccurate manual
operations.

APPLICATION
Argabuffer 65 should be dissolved with water before using, and applied before drying.
The application amounts depend on process and the pH of the fabric before treatment.
The normal dosage recommended is 4.0-8.0g/L.

Process: padding, drying/heatsetting.

Higher dosages gives better buffering properties, excess Argabuffer 65 gives no side
effects on the fabric.
Normally, Argabuffer 65 should be applied on its own. It also can be applied with
certain finishing agents in the same bath, a laboratory compatibility test must be
carried out before large-scale production.

SAFE USE AND HANDLING


Good hygienic and industrial practices should be followed, when employed as recommended.
Argabuffer 65will not present any hazard. However, prolonged skin contact with the neat product
should be avoided and any splashes on the skin should be washed off with water.
