this reflects the idea of teamwork and
the importance of mentorship, as an
automotive student it is very
important that we must be attentive to
details because in every assembly and
disassembly of any vehicle
components it is very crucial that
every part must be put in place before
and after the activity because with just
a single mistake it could possibly result to serious trouble.
On this activity we dissect an automatic transmission and the fun thing is that we are the first
group to disassemble the fresh and intact equipment, the only goal in our mind during that time is to
take out all possible detachable parts. As easy as it is but the most challenging part is putting it back
together, my group is having a hard time setting and placing the clutches and bands in place. That is
the time that we seek help from our instructor we assisted him and make sure to not blink, this time
mentorship is really important, this does not just provide guidance in the work but also providing
knowledge by sharing the experience to us students. This experience emphasized the criticality of
following proper procedures and maintaining attention to detail. A single mistake can lead to
significant issues in transmission functionality.
Through hands-on experience, I learned more about how automatic transmissions work and
how to maintain it properly. I realized how important it is to be careful and precise at every stage.
This made me realize how teamwork, learning from mentors, and paying attention to details are
crucial in learning about cars. Overall, it made me more confident in understanding and working
with automatic transmissions.
