BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES (BSP)

SY 2023 -2024

I. TITLE : Clean up Drive (International Clean up Day)

II. OBJECTIVE : engage scouts to remove trash and debris from

beaches, waterways and other water bodies, to identify the sources of the litter, to
change behaviors that causes pollution and to raise awareness on the extent of the
marine debris problem.

PARTICIPANTS : Senior and Boy Scouts, Troop Leaders, Outfit

Advisors, and the whole Council

VENUE : Manila Bay Dolomite Beach, City of Manila

III. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENT/SEMINAR/WORKSHOP/TRAININGS

This event took place on September 16, 2022 at Manila Bay Dolomite Beach,
City of Manila. Before the Scouts go to the said event, Sctr. Jonathan Briagas,
Sctr. Kim Sala and Sctr. Alimar G. Gorteo about rules and reminders about things
they should bring and do whenever they are at the event. Before they left the
school and go to the place of the event, one of the scouts will lead the prayer. all
the scouts from different schools will gather on this event for the activity. Before
the activity started, Commission Scout Representatives from Taguig City Council
(TCC) will lead the prayer, Philippine National Anthem, Scout Oath and Law,
Scout Mission and Vision, and Senior Scout Code and also every school shows
their powerful and engaging yell. the activity was started. all the scouts will
remove trash such as Plastic Bottles, Debris and other trash in the coastline of the
beach.
