Badas National High School
I. RATIONALE:
To tackle this issue, the officers and members of the Youth for Environment in
School Organization (YES-O) at Badas National High School, along with other school club
officers, are actively promoting environmental awareness not only within the school but
also in the local community. Engaging young people in environmental campaigns and
initiatives fosters a sense of responsibility toward our environment.
II. OBJECTIVES:
1. To implement Project SWEEP, which involves clean-up drives and the distribution
of pamphlets and posters.
2. To encourage the active involvement of youth in environmental campaigns and
programs.
3. To empower the community with the knowledge and work towards cleaner,
healthier, and more sustainable.

Identify the target areas within the community that require cleanup.
Request informative pamphlets and posters with clear guidelines on waste
disposal and environmental conservation from the office of PENRO.
Acquire the necessary permits or permissions for organizing a community
clean-up.
Require parents’ consent of the participants (students).
Assemble at the designated cleanup area with volunteers and necessary
equipment (gloves, trash bags, etc.).
Begin the clean-up, focusing on collecting litter and waste in the designated
area.
Distribute informative pamphlets and posters to participants and community
members in the vicinity.
