organized many opportunities for the team

Medical Assistant I: June 2023-current
• Responsible for rooming patients for their cardiology appointments and performing vital
sign intake in the Cardiology Clinic at Mercy Hospital

room and our cardiology office

Surgical Procedure Assistant and Anesthesia Technician: June 2022-January 2023
• Responsible for prepping patients for surgery and anesthesia in the Heart Hospital at
Mercy Hospital
• Participated in life-saving measures for patients in cardiopulmonary arrest
• Retrieved blood and lab results during open heart surgery and delivered to the operating

• Prepared media and bacteria necessary for a General & Medical Microbiology Lab

• Managed conflict with agitated members of the patient’s family that were denied entry
