Google earth is a geobrowser that accesses satellite
and aerial imagery, topography, ocean bathymetry, and other geographic data over the internet to represent the Earth as a three-dimensional globe. Geobrowsers are alternatively known as virtual globes or Earth browsers. Google also refers to google earth as a “geographic browser”. Google earth pro is available to download for desktop use for free. Google earth for web is a browser- based version and google earth on mobile is an app; both are also free of charge. Each of these versions of google earth can be used to read and create data in KML [Keyhole Markup Language] format, which enables educators, students, and other users to share data. Google earth provides search capabilities and the ability to pan, zoom, rotate, and tilt the view of the Earth. It also offers tools for creating new data and the growing set of layers of data, such as volcanoes and terrain, that resides on Google’s servers, and can be displayed in the view. MS Word: ribbon contains organized in three components: Tabs: These appear across the top of the Ribbon and contains groups of related commands. Home, Insert, Page Layout are examples of ribbon tabs. Groups: They organize related commands; each group name appears below the group on the Ribbon. For Example, group of commands related to fonts or group of commands related to alignment, etc. Commands: Commands appear within each group as mentioned above. Title Bar: This lies in the middle and at the top of the window. Title bar shows the program and document titles. Rulers word has two rulers- a horizontal ruler and a vertical ruler. The horizontal ruler appears just beneath the Ribbon and is used to set margins and tab stops. The vertical ruler appears on the left edge of the Word window and is used to gauge the vertical position of elements on the page
