 FOPIDS - Drainage Intrusion Detection System

A drain is primarily used for unwanted water or waste liquids to flow away during monsoons, either to a more useful
area, funnelled into a receptacle, or run into sewers or stormwater mains as waste discharge to be released or
processed.
The drainage, usually made of iron grills, prevent the passing of big animals or human through them.

Purpose of Drainage Intrusion Detection System:-

a) Generates an alert on the displacement/breakage/cutting of the grill of the drainage structure.
b) No Alert and warning during the passing of water through the drainage.
c) No Alert and warning during the passing/hitting of any debris such as stones with the water flow across the
drainage.
d) Generates an alert and associate, integrate and trigger any hooter, strobe lights or flood lights in the field, if there is
an intrusion event through drainage.
