What I Have Learned

Caregiving is one of the leading course in the frontline nowadays. Caregivers

during their training should learn to use a variety of equipment safely. This includes
common pieces of equipment like blood pressure apparatus, thermometer, food
processor, and oven as well as more specialized devices like gait belts, hospital beds,
and equipment for lifting or transferring a client which will be discussed in senior
high if you opt to choose caregiving as your specialization.

An efficient caregiver will be able to handle different tools, equipment, and

paraphernalia properly. With this, clients and their family can feel secured in the
knowledge that a well-trained caregiver is competent enough to take care of them.

What I Can Do

Direction: Write an essay on the importance of being able to identify and determine
the functions of common caregiving tools, equipment, and paraphernalia used in the
healthcare setting. Use the guide phrases below and write your answer on your
notebook.
