10. Are bead running techniques and their procedures are useful or not?
a) No, because welder have different styles
b) Yes
c) Maybe
11. What is the purpose of the flux covering the electrode?
a) Flux protects the weld pool and helps to stabilize the arc and a slug protects the
weld as it cools down.
b) To penetrate better
c) To unprotect the well pool
12. Why must all slugs be removing?
a) To protect the workplace
b) To avoid weld failure
c) Slug helps to protect and cover your failure of welding
13. Current voltage and speed normal results in?
a) Poor penetration and undercutting
b) Poor penetration and overlapping
c) Smooth, well-formed bead with no undercutting, overlapping or pilling of slag.
14. Speed fast results in?
a) Irregular bead, poor penetration, undercut and not enough weld metal in joint
causing a weak joint.
b) High voltage
c) Low voltage
15. Current low results in what way?
a) In undercutting
b) In poor penetration, slow progress
c) In perfect penetration
16. Slag, inclusion, porosity, undercut incomplete fusion, crater crack are means what?
