Sealing method

I often use this method to get rid of some tails because it saves
more time than weaving the tails in one by one. However, make
sure the area that you want to “seal” is not visible, thus, not making
it ugly.

1. Hold the tail to your piece. If you have more than 1 tail, you can
twist it to become one.

2. Apply a small amount of hot glue gun, quickly and carefully press
it using a metal flat object, I’m using my scissors.

3. Cut off the tail and you’re done.

Please take time and be patient in making the embroidery neat. I
also went through trials and errors in making the embroidery sym-
metrical.
1) Fold the upper part of the screen a little.
2) Using pastel turquoise yarn, embroider a little upside-down trian-
gle like so, in the middle of the screen and 4 rounds above the last
round.
3) Embroider a bigger upside-down triangle outside the previous tri-
angle.

assembly
I recommend to use ball point pins for assembly. This way will help
you to keep the pieces in place and make it easier to do the
sewing.
I'm using a hot glue gun to attach some of the parts, but if you
make this amigurumi for kids, I recommend to make it fully sewn.
1. Sew the body to the head. Then, insert the body armor to the
body, with the top part below R11 of the body. I also inserted wire for
the arms (optional and not recommended for kids).
2. Sew the arms on the sides of the upper body.
3. Sew the legs on the lower body (see picture).

4. Attach both straps from the front flap, to the shoulders then to the
back.
5. Attach Chest Detail B on the upper part of the body armor.
6. Attach Chest Detail A below Detail B, overlapping half of Detail A.

7. Attach Chest Detail C on the left and right chest like so:

9. Attach Back Detail A to the back. Then, attach Detail B on Detail A.

10. Attach the side pocket on the waist behind the right arm.
11. Attach the shoulder shield on the right shoulder.
12. Place one Side Case on one side of the blue square using ball-
point pins. Then, sew only the outer part..

13. Do the same for the other Side Case and also the Back Case.
14. Place the top part of Kay/o’s face on the front part of the face,
aproximately below R4 of the head.
15. Make sure that the face is in the middle and not too high or low.

Then, attach it in place.

assembly
I recommend to use ball point pins for assembly. This way will help
you to keep the pieces in place and make it easier to do the
sewing.

medaami
I'm using a hot glue gun to attach some of the parts, but if you
make this amigurumi for kids, I recommend to make it fully sewn.
1. Sew the body to the head
2. Sew the left and right collar outlining the beige area on the body
like so:
3. Insert the vest to the body but don’t attach it yet. Place the back
flap at the back and front flap at the front. Place it on top of the
body like so:

1 2 3
4. Sew the legs at the bottom of the body (see picture). Then, lower
the vest so you can see the collar area.
5. This step is optional, I inserted a wire through the upper part of the
body for the arms. (Not recommended if you make this amigurumi
for kids) (picture is just for illustration)

medaami 14

6. Sew the arms on the sides of the body.
7. Attach 1 armor on the right shoulder, then attach the other armor
below it. Give them a little space (don’t place them too close).
8. Attach the side pocket on the left waist behind the arm.

9. Attach both straps from the front flap, to the shoulders then to the
back flap.
10. Attach the back armor to the back of the body.
11. Attach the chest armor to the front of the body.

9 10 11

12. Place the hair base diagonally like so:

13. Place the upper beard below the eyes like so. Before attaching,
use ballpoin pins to place it in the shape like a trapezium. Then,
place the lower beard right above the collar area.

14. Place the side beards on the side of the lower head like so:

16. You can reshape the hat and make the right side pointy like so:
17. Place the hat detail on the right side of the hat.
18. (Optional) add blush on the cheeks to make him cuter (I used a
peach-coloured blush and applied it using small brush).

I recommend to use ball point pins for assembly. This way will help
you to keep the pieces in place and make it easier to do the

I'm using a hot glue gun to attach some of the parts, but if you
make this amigurumi for kids, I recommend to make it fully sewn.

1. Insert the vest to the body from the upper part of the body. Leave
a gap to sew the body to the head later. Don’t sew/glue the vest first.
2. Sew the body to the head. Reposition the vest upwards then sew/-
glue it in place.
3. This step is optional, I inserted a wire through the upper part of the
body for the arms. (Not recommended if you make this amigurumi
for kids) (picture is just for illustration)

6. Attach the hair diagonaly like so.
Before sewing them, place and posi-
tion the hair using the ballpoint pins
so the result will be neater

7. Attach the Orange Detail to the body (see pictures).

Quick tip: Before attaching, please make sure that the length of your Orange Detail is
enough to go around the chest part (you can read the instructions below this to know
how to attach it first). This is because we crochet in different tightness and sizes of the
yarn which results in varies of length. If your Orange Detail turns out to be too short, you
can make it longer by adding the number of the chains. Vice versa.
A) Starting from the back side of the left arm, bring to the front part
of the body and form a horizontal line and a “v” shape in the middle.
B) Then, bring to the right arm and to the back and form a fully hor-
izontal line. (You can sew the Orange Detail to attach it, but I recom-
mend to use little amount of hot glue so the result will be neater.)

assembly
I recommend to use ball point pins for assembly. This way will help
you to keep the pieces in place and make it easier to do the
sewing. I'm using a hot glue gun to attach some of the parts, but
if you make this amigurumi for kids, I recommend to make it fully
sewn. medaami 10
1. Sew the body to the head. Then, pull the armor up to the upper
part of the body. Sew/glue it in place.
2. Sew the legs to the lower sides of the body. (If you wanna make
it stand, just sew the legs on the bottom of the body.)

3. Attach the necklace surrounding the neck.
4. Attach the pendant in the centre of the neck.
5. Attach the waist detail surrounding the waist, slightly downwards
between the legs

Front Back
3 4 5
6. This step is optional, I inserted a wire through the upper part of the
body for the arms. (Not recommended if you make this amigurumi
for kids)
7. Sew the arms to the sides of the upper body.

medaami 11
(illustration only)
8. Using ball point pins, mark a horizontal line starting from the right
side of the hair base on R12 (approximately 8sts away from the loop
alligned on the center of the face on R12 of the hair base), to the back,
then to the left side of the hair base. Don’t mind moving to any
rounds as long as it’s a horizontal line.

9. We’re now gonna make the lower back hair first:

A) Ch 12 on the loop that you put your first ball point pin.
B) (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc, 3dc, 4tc [11]
C) Skip 2 loops, slst on the 3rd loop towards the next ball point pin.

(You can move to any rounds of

the hair base, as long as it forms a
straight line towards the next ball
point pin.)

D) Ch 12, (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc, 3dc, 4tc
[11]
E) Skip 2 loops, slst on the 3rd loop towards the next ball point pin.
F) Repeat Step D and E five more times until you have a total of 7
strands of lower back hair.
G) Fasten off, weave the tails in. Arrange the strands neatly then pin
them in place (don’t sew/glue them yet).

medaami 12
10. Using ball point pins, mark a straight line starting from the loop
that you started the lower back hair, to the loop that you ended the
lower back hair.

11. We’re now gonna make the upper back hair:

A) Ch 17 on the loop that you put your first ball point pin.
B) (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc, 3dc, 9tc [16]
C) Skip 2 loops, slst on the 3rd loop towards the next ball point pins.

3rd loop towards the next ball point pin.
I) Fasten off, weave the tails in, arrange the

strands neatly using ball point pins. Don’t
sew/glue them in place yet.
12. Place Hair A on the centre of the face, starting from the hairline
and to the back
13. Place another 2 remaining Hair A on each left and right sides of
the middle Hair A, but in slightly outwards direction like so:
14. Place 2 Hair B on each left and right sides of the previous strands
in slightly outwards direction like so:

15. Place 2 Hair C on each the left and right side of the previous
strands like so:
16. Sew/glue all Hair A, B, C in place. Then, place the head band sur-
rounding the hair line (for the back part, place it underneath the lower
back hair) and sew/glue it in place.

15 16
17. Sew/glue the braid on the right side of the head, below the lower
back hair, above the headband.
18. Place the end of the braid to the right side of the shoulder, and
sew/glue it in place.
19. Sew/glue all hair strands in place.

materials
- Any yarn in beige, black, dark gray, light gray, navy blue, dark
violet and white colour
- Crochet hook that matches the size of your yarn
- A pair of safety eyes and washer (I use a 10mm eyes)
- Ball point pins for assembly
- Tapestry/yarn needle
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
- Stuffing
- A hot glue gun
- (optional) Gray and black eyeshadow

SIZE
I used Bali cotton yarn in size #2 (sport) and a 2.50mm crochet
hook. My Fade turned out approximately 12cm (3.4") tall.

ABBREVIATIONS
R = round/row BLO = back loop only
ch = chain FLO = front loop only
st(s) = stitch(es) sk = skip
sc = single crochet slst = slip stitch
hdc = half double crochet x(...) = repeat (...) times
dc = double crochet
tc = triple crochet
medaami 3
inc = increase (2sc in 1 st)

Make another one in navy blue colour.
Now, you have 2 pieces that you’re going to cro-
chet through both of their stitches.
1. Allign the dark violet piece on top of the navy blue piece. We’re
going to start from the loop below the first stitch (see picture).
2. (in light gray) Ch 1 to start off.
3. Crochet: (5sc, inc) x4, 3sc. For the last sc, you sc to the loop of the
first chains that you made for those 2 pieces (we do this to make
the ends appear flatter, shaping the shape of a collar).
4. Slst in the same loop, then fasten off and weave in/seal off the
tails. (Optional) Embroider random lines for details.

2. Sew the legs to the lower sides of the body. (If you wanna make
it stand, just sew the legs on the bottom of the body.)

1 2
3. This step is optional, I inserted a wire through the upper part of the
body for the arms. (Not recommended if you make this amigurumi
for kids)
4. Sew the arms to the sides of the upper body.
5. Attach the side pocket to the right side of the waist (our POV).

3 4 5
medaami 12
6. Attach the waist detail to the left side of the waist.
7. Attach the collar outlining the beige area on the front body then
surrounding the neck. Leave a little gap on the centre.

6 7
8. Attach the zipper in the middle middle of the chest like so:
9. Sew the hair base to the head diagonaly like so. Before doing this,
I recommend to read step 21 on page 15 first.

8 9
10. Using ball point pins, place Hair A starting from the right side of the
forehead to the right side of the head like so:
11. On attaching Hair A, leave a little gap like so (for the extra hair
strand):
12. Twist the ends of all hair strands a little to make them curly.

medaami
12 13
10 11
13. We’re going to pin all hair strands first, so don’t sew/glue them in
place yet.
Place Hair B below Hair A, overlapping half part of the top strands.
14. Place Hair C below Hair B, Hair D below hair C, and Hair E below
Hair D. Only overlap the top part of the strands, don’t overlap the ends
(see picture).

13 14
15. Now we’re attaching the back hair. Place Hair F next to Hair E, hiding
the top part of the strand below Hair E like so. Make sure the line where
the black meets the white is on the same level as Hair E’s.
16. Place the rest of the hair stands in sequence (Hair G next to Hair F,
Hair H next to Hair G, and Hair I next to Hair H). Hide their top parts of
the strand below Hair E.
17. Make sure your last strand (Hair I) is the same level as your first
strand that you attach (Hair A). If it’s too long or short, you can just
freely move it higher or lower under Hair E.

medaami 14
15 16 17
18. Sew/glue the hair strands that you’ve placed.
Place the second strand of Hair D that you made on the centre of the
forehead and to the side, slightly to the back of the head like so:
19. Place the second strand of Hair C that you made next to Hair D
that you just placed. Place the end of Hair C to the side of the head,
forming a little gap/curve to make the hair look more volumed.
Sew/glue the strands in place.

18 19
20. Attach the extra strand below Hair A, on the gap that you leave
earlier.
21. (optional) Using brown eyeshadow and a super thin brush, carefully
draw a line, forming like an upside down and stretched “V” shape
below the eyes like so. You can practice first on the back of the head
before sewing the hair base, this way you can make sure you won’t
make a mess and also the back of the head will be covered with the
hair base so your “practice” won’t be visible.
22. I cut 2 small triangles out off black felt for the eyeliner (or you
can just embroider them) and also used peach coloured blush for the
cheeks.

(more on the next page)
2. Glue one piece of the outer ponytails to the inner ponytail. Only
glue the lower part. Leave the upper part unglued so it can create
the shape like a blooming flower.
3. Glue another one on the opposite side.
4. Glue the other 2 pieces on the remaining 2 gaps.
5. Do the same on the other ponytail. Again, bend the top part of
the outer ponytails to make them look like blooming flowers.

assembly
I recommend to use ball point pins for assembly. This way will help
you to keep the pieces in place and make it easier to do the
sewing.
I'm using a hot glue gun to attach some of the parts, but if you
make this amigurumi for kids, I recommend to make it fully sewn.

medaami 13
1. Sew the body to the head. Then, pull the armor up to the upper
part of the body. Sew/glue it in place.
2. Sew the legs to the lower sides of the body. (If you wanna make
it stand, just sew the legs on the bottom of the body.)

1 2
3. This step is optional, I inserted a wire through the upper part of the
body for the arms. (Not recommended if you make this amigurumi
for kids)
4. Sew the arms to the sides of the upper body.
5. Attach both Armor Detail 1 on the chest towards the armpits like so:

3 4 5
6. Attach Armor Detail 2 on the center of the chest like so:
7. Attach DARK VIOLET waist detail to the right side of the waist (our
POV).

11. Attach the backpack details on the sides of the backpack like so:
12. Sew the hair base to the head diagonaly like so:

medaami 15
13. Using ball point pins, mark a horizontal line starting from the right
side of the hair base on the last round (approximately 9sts away from
the loop alligned on the center of the face on R12 of the hair base),
to the back, then to the left side of the hair base. Don’t mind moving
to any rounds as long as it’s a horizontal line.

14. We’re now going to make the YELLOW layer of the hair first:
A) Ch 15 on the loop that you put your first ball point pin.
B) (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc, 3dc, 7tc [14]
C) Skip 2 loops, slst on the 3rd loop towards the next ball point pin.

(You can move to any

rounds of the hair base,
as long as it forms a
straight line towards the
next ball point pin.)

A C
D) Ch 15, (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc, 3dc, 7tc
[14]
E) Skip 2 loops, slst on the 3rd loop towards the next ball point pin.
F) Repeat Step D and E seven more times until you have a total of 9
strands of the yellow layer of hair.
G) Fasten off, weave the tails in, arrange them neatly then glue
them in place.
medaami 16
(photos on the next page)
15. We’re now going to make the BLUE layer of the hair right above the
yellow layer.
A) Ch 17 on the loop that is 2 loops away upwards from the first strand
of yellow hair layer that you made (see picture).
B) (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc, 2dc, 10tc [16]
C) Skip 2 loops, slst on the 3rd loop that forms a horizontal line like the
previous yellow layer. Make sure that your BLUE strand ended up on
the middle of the YELLOW strands (see picture).
(You can skip more than 2
loops as long as the blue
strand will end up in the
middle on the yellow strand,
not equally on top of each
other.)
A C
D) Ch 17, (starting from 2nd chain from hook)
slst, 2sc, hdc, 2dc, 10tc [16]
E) Skip 2 loops (or more), slst on the 3rd loop
that forms a horizontal line like the previous
yellow layer. Make sure that your BLUE strand
ended up on the middle of 2 YELLOW strands.
F) Repeat Step D and E eight more times until you have a total of 10
strands of the blue layer of hair.
G) Fasten off, weave the tails in, arrange them neatly then glue
medaami 17
them in place.
16. We’re now going to make another BLUE
layer of top of the head.
A) Ch 17 on the loop that is next to the first A
strand of blue hair layer that you made (see
picture).
B) (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, sc,
hdc, dc, 10tc, dc, hdc [16]
C) Skip 1 loop, slst on the 2nd loop next to it.
D) Ch 21, (starting from 2nd chain from hook) C
2dc, 16tc, dc, hdc [20] Skip 1 loop, slst on the
2nd loop next to it.
E) Ch 25, (starting from 3rd chain from hook) 21tc, 2dc, hdc [24] Skip
1 loop, slst on the 2nd loop next to it.
F) Repeat step E.
G) Repeat step D.
H) Ch 17, (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, sc, hdc, dc, 10tc, dc,
hdc [16] Skip 1 loop, slst on the 2nd loop next to it.

I) Using ball point pins, position the strands to the back. Don’t sew/glue
them in place yet.
J) Leave gaps between the first and second strand, and the fifth and
sixth strand. You’ll be inserting the yellow inner hair that you made
earlier on page 11.

(pictures on the next page)

medaami 18
17. Insert the yellow inner hair on the gap, on both sides. Then, sew/-
glue the inner yellow hair and also the whole top hair layer in place.
18. Sew/glue the side hairs on the side of the hair like so:

17 18
19. Sew/glue the bangs from the top of the middle forehead, then
down diagonally like so, forming like a curtain shape:
20. Sew/glue the ponytails on top of the left and right sides of the
head, slightly to the back. Make sure that from the front, the two
petals of the ponytails are facing forward like so:

19 20
21. Attach the face detail in the middle of the face, on the same
medaami 19
level as the eyes.
22. Embroider tiny diagonal lines using light gray yarn forming like a
little angry eyebrows like so: (I drew them using white colour to make
them visible)
23. I cut 2 small triangles out off black felt for the eyeliner (or you
can just embroider them) and also used peach coloured blush for
the cheeks.

4
sova PATTERN

Paint one of the eyes using a light blue acrylic

paint. You can apply more than 1 layer to
make it opaque, but wait for the previous
layer to dry before applying another layer.

I'm using a hot glue gun to attach some of the parts, but if you make
this amigurumi for kids, I recommend to make it fully sewn.

1. Sew the body to the head.

2. Sew the legs to the lower sides of the body. (If you wanna make

3. This step is optional, I inserted a wire through the upper part of
the body for the arms.
(Not recommended if you make this amigurumi for kids.)
4. Sew the arms to the sides of the upper body.

3 4
5. Sew the hair base to the head diagonally like so:
6. Sew/glue Hair A on top of the head, placing the pointy side 2
rounds below the mocha hair base.

3. Cut off the tail and you’re done.

2. Sew the legs to the lower sides of the body. (If you wanna make
it stand, just sew the legs on the bottom of the body.)

1 2
3. This step is optional, I inserted a wire through the upper part of
the body for the arms.
(Not recommended if you make this amigurumi for kids.)
4. Sew the arms to the sides of the upper body.

3 4
12
5. Glue the shoulder straps right from the line of the dark green yarn
of the front body, to the shoulders, then to the back body.
6. Glue the waist detail right on the line of the dark green yarn and
surrounding the body, overlapping the shoulder straps a little.
7. Glue the body detal in the middle of the waist detail.

5, 6 7

8. Sew the hair base diagonally like so:

9. Sew one of Hair A in the middle of the back side of the hair base,
on R9.
10. Sew the other two piece of Hair A on the sides, giving approxi-
mately 1-2sts in between. (You can position them first using ball
point pins to get the right position before completely sewing them.)
11. Sew both pieces of Hair B on the sides of Hair A.

(pictures on the next page)

13
9 10 11

12. Insert the cap slightly diagonally like so, showing a little hair base
on the cap’s hole.
13. Sew/glue the headphone cups on the sides of the head, right
below the cap.

12 13
14. Sew the headphone band on one headphone cup (slightly to the
back), then to the other headphone cup.
15. I cut 2 small pieces of triangle from black felt for the eyeliner (or
you can just embroider them), and also added blushes on the cheeks
using a mixture of pink and orange eyeshadow.

Now we’re going to attach the collars to the jacket:

1) Place Right Collar on the right side of the jacket, and Left Collar
on the left side of the jacket.
2) We’re going to sew using blanket stitch with dark gray yarn. (You
can watch some tutorials on YouTube on how to sew a blanket stitch,
but in this pattern, I’ll also show you how to do it.)
Cut off dark gray yarn, long enough to sew from the side, up, then
to the other side of the jacket. Then, tie a knot in the end.
3) To start sewing the blanket stitch, insert the needle through the
bottom, lower, right side of the jacket.
4) Insert the needle to the collar, but don’t pull it completely.
5) Insert the needle to the loop that you didn’t pull it completely.
6) Insert the needle through both collar and jacket.
7) Don’t pull the yarn completely. Insert the needle through the loop.

assembly
I recommend to use ball point pins for assembly. This way will help
you to keep the pieces in place and make it easier to do the sewing.
I'm using a hot glue gun to attach some of the parts, but if you make
this amigurumi for kids, I recommend to make it fully sewn.

1. Sew the body to the head.

2. Glue the belt on the lower side of the body, slightly tilted like so:
3. Glue Chest Detail to the right side of the upper body like so:

1 2 3
4. Sew the legs to the lower sides of the body. (If you wanna make
it stand, just sew the legs on the bottom of the body.)
5. This step is optional, I inserted a wire through the upper part of
the body for the arms.
(Not recommended if you make this amigurumi for kids.)
6. Sew the arms to the sides of the upper body.

4 5 6
9
7. Glue Eye 1 on the middle of the face, and both Eye 2 on the sides
of Eye 1, giving approximately 2sts apart from Eye 1..
8. Sew/glue the cape behind the body.

7 8
9. Place the hood collar surrounding the neck, and allign the pointy
side onto the left side of the chest. Then, sew/glue them into place.
10. Place the hood on the head diagonally like so:

9 10
11. Fold a little bit of the lower side of the hood like so, then glue it to
the hood collar.
12. Shape the hood and you’re done!

materials
- Any yarn in black, ivory, bronze, navy, pastel turqoise, and brown
colour
- Crochet hook that matches the size of your yarn
- Tapestry/yarn needle
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
- Stuffing
- A hot glue gun (recommended) or fabric glue

SIZE
I used Bali cotton yarn in size #2 (sport) and a 2.50mm crochet
hook. My Cypher turned out approximately 12cm (3.4") tall.

ABBREVIATIONS
R = round/row BLO = back loop only
ch = chain FLO = front loop only

sc = single crochet slst = slip stitch
hdc = half double crochet x(...) = repeat (...) times

Sealing method

I often use this method to get rid of some tails because it saves
more time than weaving the tails in one by one. However, make
sure the area that you want to “seal” is not visible, thus, not making
it ugly.

1. Hold the tail to your piece. If you have more than 1 tail, you can
twist it to become one.

2. Apply a small amount of hot glue gun, quickly and carefully press
it using a metal flat object, I’m using my scissors.

3. Cut off the tail and you’re done.

3. Cut off the tail and you’re done.

assembly
I recommend to use ball point pins for assembly. This way will help
you to keep the pieces in place and make it easier to do the
sewing.
I'm using a hot glue gun to attach some of the parts, but if you
make this amigurumi for kids, I recommend to make it fully sewn.

13
1. Sew the body to the head.
2. Sew the legs to the lower sides of the body. (If you wanna make
it stand, just sew the legs on the bottom of the body.)

1 2
3. Sew/glue the handkerchief to the middle of the upper body.
4. Sew/glue the jacket base around the body.

3 4
5. This step is optional, I inserted a wire through the upper part of
the body for the arms.
(Not recommended if you make this amigurumi for kids.)
6. Sew the arms to the sides of the upper body.

5 6 14
7. Sew/glue the jacket details on both sleeves.
8. Don’t forget to push the arms in to make that “puffy” look.
9. Embroider the left eyebrow (you can embroider both eyebrows),
and I also added blushes on the cheeks using a mixture of pink and
orange eyeshadow.

7 8 9

10. Sew/glue the side hair(s), approximately 3sts apart from the eyes.
11. Sew/glue the front hair on the forehead, slightly to the right, down
diagonally.

10 11
12. Sew/glue the back hair to the lower side of the back head.

15
13. Sew/glue the beanie diagonally like so:

14. Glue the backpack strap in a “U” shape, then sew/glue the back-
pack on top of it.

15. Bend one of the glasses ends like so:

16. Insert it to one side of the face.
17. Insert the other end to the face, then bend it when it’s inside the
face.

3. Cut off the tail and you’re done.

2. Sew/glue the belt diagonally like so:
3. Sew/glue belt detail 1 on the side of the belt like so:

1 2 3

4. Glue belt detail 2 on the middle of the belt.

5. This step is optional, I inserted a wire through the upper part of
the body for the arms.
6. Sew the arms to the sides of the upper body.

4 5 6
10
7. Sew the legs to the lower sides of the body. (If you wanna make it
stand, just sew the legs on the bottom of the body.)
8. Glue the chest details on the chest and towards the armpits.

7 8
9. Sew/glue the collar detail on the upper body, right below the
head.
10. Sew/glue the shoulder shields on the upper arms like so:

9 10
11. Now we’ll smoothen out the mask on the face. Make 33 chains and
seal off the tails. Glue it to the face, following the line of the mask,
starting from the left side of the face to the right side. Don’t apply
too much glue so it will turn out neat.

11
12. Sew/glue the backpack to the upper side of the back body.
13. Sew the hair base diagonally like so:

12 13
14. Using ball point pins, mark your hair line starting from the right side
(approximately 4sts away from the middle st) and to the back.

15. We’re now gonna make the right side of the hair first, which is the
shorter strands of hair:
A. Ch 21 on the loop that you put your first ball point pin.
B. (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc, 16dc [20]
C. Skip 2 loops, slst on the 3rd loop towards the next ball point pins.

A B C
12
D. Repeat step A to C two more times, and now you have a total of 3
strands of hair.
E. Continue: ch 19, (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc,
14dc [18], skip 2 loops, slst.
F. ch 17, (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc, 12dc [16],
skip 2 loops, slst.
G. ch 15, (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc, 10dc [14],
skip 2 loops, slst.
H. ch 15, (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc, 10dc [14],
skip 2 loops, slst to the same level of the loop that you slst before
starting step G.

same level

D E. F. G H

I. Now we’re gonna start making the left side of the hair, which is the
longer strands of hair. From your current position, slst all the way to
the loop that you slst before starting step G, and you’ll start making
the longer strands from here.
J. Continue: ch 23, (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc,
18dc [22], slst to the exact same loop that you slst for the shorter
strands (now you don’t have to estimate where to slst anymore, just
slst to the same loops that you did for the shorter strands, so both
shorter and longer strands will line across).

(pictures on the next page)

13
I J
K. Continue: ch 27, (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc,
22dc [26], skip 2 loops, slst.
L. ch 31, (starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc, 26dc [30],
skip 2 loops, slst.
G. Repeat step L two more times.
H. Now we’re making an extra strand for the longer strands: Ch 29,
(starting from 2nd chain from hook) slst, 2sc, hdc, 24dc [28], slst on
the same loop that you slst before starting step H.
You’re done making the hair.

K, L, G H
16. Arrange the hair strands using ball point pins then glue them to the
hair base. For the extra hair strand, I glue them slightly to the back,
overlapping the other hair strand.

(pictures on the next page)

14
17. I decided to add more details on the mask. You can just cut out 2
small circles from a dark gray felt, or you can crochet them: (make 2)
ch 2, (starting from 2nd ch from hook) slst.
18. This step is optional, I embroider a little line on the side of the eyes
using a light green yarn.
19. I cut 2 small pieces of triangle from black felt for the eyeliner (or
you can just embroider them), and also added blushes on the cheeks
using a mixture of pink and orange eyeshadow.

glasses

Prepare your wire and any square object that can help you to shape
the wire to form a glasses. If you don’t have it, you can just use any
circular object and just shape them using pliers later. Also, make sure
the object fits the size of your Chamber’s face.

Example of a square object. Mine’s too big for

Chamber’s face so I’m just going to use my circu-
lar object and shaping them later.

1) Bend the wire 90°. 3) Bend it straight.

2) Wrap it around your object. 4) Mark your 2nd circle.
