METHODOLOGY

The accident detection and alert system uses a sensor, an accelerometer, to

gather data. This data is sent to an Arduino Uno nano microcontroller for
processing. If an accident is detected, the microcontroller sends an emergency
alert via a GSM module. At the same time, the GPS unit provides location data
to the emergency services. Additionally, LCD display will display the
magnitude of vehicle accident.

ADVANTAGES
 Immediate notification of accidents facilitates faster response
from emergency services.
 Automatic accident detection speed up dispatching of
emergency services, potentially reducing response times.
 Prompt dispatching increases the likelihood of saving lives in
emergency situations. - Integration of GPS technology ensures
precise location tracking of accidents.
 Accurate location data aids emergency services in reaching
accident sites swiftly and efficiently.

FUTURE SCOPE
 Advancements in communication technologies such as 5G and
beyond can facilitate faster and more reliable communication.

 By analyzing historical data and traffic patterns, the system

could predict potential accident hotspots and take preventive
measures to reduce the likelihood of accidents.

 Future interaction with various sensors, including alcohol and

heart rate detectors, can prevent accidents and save lives.

 Integration with controller modules capable of capturing

accident scenes aids in tracking and investigation.

 Implementation of machine learning enables recognition of

facial expressions of accident victims, enhancing response and
support efforts

Advantages - Immediate notification of accidents facilitates faster response from emergency services.
- Automatic accident detection speed up dispatching of emergency services, potentially reducing
response times. - Prompt dispatching increases the likelihood of saving lives in emergency situations.
- Integration of GPS technology ensures precise location tracking of accidents. - Accurate location
data aids emergency services in reaching accident sites swiftly and efficientl
