First Year – Second Semester


 At the end of the program the students will be able to:
1. Acquire a strong theoretical and practical understanding in
small engine, motorcycle, automotive engines (conventional &
EFI engines), electrical, power trains, under chassis units, auto
painting and mobile air conditioning installation,
repair/servicing and maintenance, On-board computerized
engine control systems and engine performance diagnosis,
basic driving and maintenance.
2. Gain an extensive industry exposure in line with the small
engine, motorcycle, conventional & EFI automotive engines,
auto electrical, power train and under chassis servicing, repair
and maintenance.
Program Outcome: 3. Articulate, discuss and apply the latest developments in the
specific field of practice, including the update in science and
technology.
4. Effectively communicate orally and in writing using both
English and Filipino
5. Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and
multi-cultural teams.
6. Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical
responsibility
7. Preserve and promote “Filipino historical and cultural
heritage”
8. Articulate the rootedness of education in philosophical,

13. Graduate a TVET Diploma Program and be able to proceed
and finish related Degree (college) program within 2 years.
Course outcome: At the end of the semester, the student will be able:
 Understand the state of the world today and the new global
order.
The Contemporary  Analyze the different causes of rapid population growth.
World  Identify the challenges post by globalization and encourage
them to bring out their responses based on their personal
opinions.
 Identify and assess the rapid changes that have taken in the
field of international relations.
 Assess one’s cognizance about the cause and effect of the
common venereal disease and its common causes.

 Determine the significance of the components and features
Mathematics, Science, of the biotic and a biotic factors of ecosystem
and Technology  Identify the different environmental issues and problems
and the different approaches to address those issues and

 Apply principles to maintain the beauty of the
environment.
 Recognize the role of human being in preserving the
natural resources of the environment

Course outcome: At the end of the course, students will be able to:
 Familiarizing you with the important ethical issues that
arise in business (such as consumer protection, drug test-
ing, and discrimination, and others)
 Introducing you to theoretical concepts (such as the free-
Ethics rider problem, utilitarianism, and Kantianism) that will
help you to think about these issues more abstractly and
systematically
 Developing your ability to discuss these issues extempora-
neously
 Developing your ability to explain a position in this field in
an oral presentation
 Developing your ability to formulate and defend, in a pa-
per of some length, a cogent and considered position in
this field
 At the end of the program the students will be able to:

 Explain Rizal’s life, works, ideas, and ideals.
 Discuss how these have influenced the formation
of Philippine nationhood.
Life and Works of Rizal  Point out important and pivotal events and factors that
helped shape and develop Rizal’s nationalism.
 Appreciate the relevance of Rizal’s teachings and those of
other heroes
 Evaluate the achievements of Rizal and other heroes
in relation to their importance to the life of the Filipino
nation.
 Manifest respect and reverence for his achievements,
ideas, and ideals
 At the end of the program the students will be able to:

3. Grasp the concepts related to individual and cultural
differences in stress reactions across lifespan;
4. Assess individual risk factors as related to stress (behavioral,
emotional, physical, spiritual);
5. Understand and learn how to use various techniques and
People’s Skills and determine the most appropriate method to aid in managing
Stress Management
one’s reaction to stress;
6. Develop the ability to tap personal strengths for preventing
stress and achieving meaningful goals;

1. Identify the engine system component parts.
2. Identify systems of measurement. Use and operate different
Preventive measuring tools and equipment needed in Gas and Diesel
Maintenance and Engine Tune-Up
Gas/Diesel Engine 3. Identify the engine theories and principles
Tune-up, and Vehicle 4. Diagnose automotive engine faults
Components tagging 5. Conduct parts inspection and analysis
6. Perform adjusting, retightening bolts and nuts, replacing and
cleaning.
7. Perform final engine test.
8. Perform tagging of vehicle parts/components.
