1- Purpose:
This method statement is to illustrate the method of execution the works in this
project during the period indicated in the work plan.

2- Generality:
In addition of works, we will give extra care to the safety procedure on site as
mentioned in the attached “Safety Procedure” and in our Health and Safety Policy,
to protect our staff, the Employer Staff and the locals from any injury and from the
COVID 19 pandemic.
We will also respect the environment and work according to our Environmental
Policy by removing all the excavation debris to an approval dump, prevent causing
any damage to the nearby trees and plants, using the machineries which fit the site
condition.
And we will follow our Quality Control System to ensure that the works will be
executed with high quality.
Also, we will generate full shop-drawings and final as-built drawings for the
executed works.
In addition, we will be able to provide detailed schedules using specialized planning
software (Primavera) and the necessary engineering software.

3- Works:
a- Topographical Works: the surveying will be locating center line of each road and
determining the start and end point and the slope of the reinforced concrete slab.
for this activity, their will be the site engineer, the surveyor and its assistant and
the foreman. And it will take 4 days to be completed.

b- Mobilization: for this activity we will have one skilled labor and 2 unskilled to
prepare the site, and drivers to transport the materials and the tools.

c- Clearing and grabbing: this item will include removing and cleaning of all
obstructs from the road and transport the debris to an approval dump.
To execute these works, we will use excavator and pickup.
This activity will hold place in Khalouet 2&3, Mimes and Meri 2 only (according
to BoQ). And for each 100 m2, we will need 1 day to execute it.
This equipment will be checked every morning before starting the work to make
sure that there is no malfunction, and for the drivers, they will be professionals
and have driving licenses.

d- Reinforced Concrete Slab, 12 cm thick: After taking the approval on the

materials, they will be delivered to site and stocked in a safe stock.
And after finishing the clearing and grabbing in Khalouet 2&3, Mimes and Meri
2 and preparing the surface in Khalouet 1, the steel bars will be installed
according the specifications and prepare on site the concrete mix, pour and
leveling it. Note that the surface will be rough for the pavement. And the pouring will
be hydrated 3 times per day. During all the concrete works, as the others, the
labors will respect the safety procedure.
During the pouring the vibrator will be used to well distributing of the mixer.

e- Reinforced Barriers: This item will include the build of metallic framework
(according the drawings and the instructions of Engineer), the installation of the
steel bars (according the drawings and the instructions of Engineer), and pouring
of the approved concrete mixer using the vibrator.
After the construction of barriers, they will transport to site and installed
according the instructions of the Engineer.
This item will be executed separately and by separated team.

f- Snag List: this item will include checking all the comments of the engineer after
finishing of works (if any), cleaning the site and demobilization.
