MINUTES OF THE 761ST MEETING OF TUGUEGARAO COMITIUM HELD

AT THE PARISH PASTORAL CENTER ON AUGUST 21, 2022 AT 9:00 O’CLOCK IN
THE MORNING.

1. The Opening Prayer and Rosary was led by Sis. Isabel Anog, our President.
2. The Spiritual Reading was “The Priest and the Legion” EHB pp. 62-63.
3. The Minutes of 760th meeting was read and noted by the Body.
4. Attendance was called by the Vice Pres, Sis. Mila Carlos Which showed the
following:
Comitium officers - - - - - - - 100%
Curia represented - - - - - - - 75%
Praesidia represented - - - - 86%
-Praesidia with 100% attendance was the Our Mother Of Perpetual help.
5. Correspondence Received
The Senatus announcements and reminders during the August 7,
2022 meeting was read by Sis. Isabel Anog.

7. Announcements
The officers of Curia and Praesidia, together with Comitium officers will plan
for the following activities :
1. Preparation for the official visit of our Bishop.
 2. August 21, 2022 at 7:30 Am – Legionaries are assigned to clean the sacristy.
3. Aug. 27, 2022 at 8:30 AM there will be a mass for the pastoral visit of the
Bishop.

8. Reports :
a.) Regina Pacis : A praesidium composed of 22 active members, 17 full-pledged
and 5 on probation, 7 praetorians, 22 adjutorians , 106 auxiliaries. Their usual
apostolates are visit to the sick, home visitations, hospital visitations, campaign for
marriage validation, baptism, confession, confirmation, communion, brought to mass,
assist in anointing of the sick, Catechetical instructions, crowd apostolate and family
rosary.
The Praesidium attended the ACIES and have their summer function. A brother
legionary convinced his classmates, to go for Confession. Now, they are attending holy
mass & receiving the Sacraments. Another legionary convinced her co-worker to go to
mass also.
They plan to recruit more active and auxiliary members.
b.) Our Mother of Perpetual Help : The praesidium composed of 6 full-pledge and 2
on probation and 74 auxiliaries. They prepared grade 4 and 5 pupils for confession and
first holy communion. They were able to prepare 199 pupils. They also catechized 172
pupils in grade 5 & 6 for confirmations. They plan to invite more to become member of
their praesidium.
c.) Queen of Angels Curia : The Curia composed of 13 praesidia, 150 active full-
pledge, 16 praetorians and 100 auxiliaries, the usual apostolate of the 4 praesidia are
visit to the sick, Rosary devotions, assisted anointing of the sick, campaign for mass,
baptism, confession, marriage validation.
Action taken: visitation of the praesidium with poor attendance and
reorganization of Junior legionaries in the Barangay
9.)Catena Legionis
Everyone stood up to pray the Catena Legionis led by our Spiritual Director, Rev.
Fr. Francis Miguel.
10.)Allocutio
The allocutio was given by Fr. Francis was about the empowerment of the laity.
The Pope said, “Virtues of a layman that is true and apostolic.’’ Science and Technology
separates us from our relationship to the Lord. Our life focused only on material things.
 We have the 2 aspects of life: the prophetic mission (pagsamba), and kingly
mission (to serve mankind). Our concern must be our relation with the Lord. What is the
usual thing na sinasabi natin?Pari ang magsosolve nito pero meron tayong tinatawag
na empowerment of the laity. We participate in the mission of Jesus. As legionaries, our
devotions to the Blessed Mother : Rosary, Novena of the feast day of Mama Mary,
Perpetual Help Novena. Kailangan lumabas din tayo sa comfort zone natin, we share
the good news. Pero may mga pagsubok parin, pwede tayong madismaya, pwede
tayong tumigil. Pero ang gospel ngayon “Strive to enter the narrow gate.’’ We need to
sacrifice. The Word of God can be seen by others especially those in need. Sacrifice is
the real and true love for God.
After the allocutio, Father gave his blessing.
11.) Points to be stressed from senatus and comitium was read by Sis. Betty Flores, our
treasurer.
12.) Visitation of Curia and Praesidia
Sis.Isabel and Sis.Mila Carlos visited Regina Pacis.
Sis.Betty and Sis Mila visited Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
13.)Patrician:Sis.Prudenciana Nadal requested to reschedule the Patrician meeting on
Oct. 9,2022.
14.)Concluding Prayer
Everyone knelt down for the Concluding Prayer led by Sis.Isabel Anog.This was
followed by the Prayer to Frank Duff.
15.)Adjournment:The meeting ended at 11:58 noon.
