MINUTES OF 760TH MEETING OF TUGUEGARAO COMITIUM HELD AT


THE PARISH PASTORAL CENTER ON JULY 19, 2022 AT 9:00 O’CLOCK IN THE
MORNING.

1. The opening Prayer and Rosary was led by Sis. Isabel Anog, our President.
2. The Spiritual Reading was “Object and Spirit of the Legion,” EHB pp. 11-13.
3. The Minutes of 759th meeting was read and noted by the body.
4. Attendance was called by the newly elected Vice President, Sis. Mila Carlos, which showed
the following:

Comitium officers - - - - - - - 100%

Curia Represened - - - - - - - - 50%

Senior Presidia Represented - 64%

5. Correspondence Received

The Senatus announcements during the July 3, 2022 meeting were read by the secretary.

6. Treasurer’s Report

7. Announcements
The officers of Curiae and Praesidia, together with the Comitium officers will plan for the ff.
activities;

1. August is the month to give tribute to our Spiritual Director.


2. Plan for the birthday of the blessed Mother.
3. October Devotion.
4. Annual General Reunion.

8. Reports ;
a. Stella Maris ; A praesidium composed of nine (9) active members, 7 full Pledged and 2
on probation , 4 Praetorians and 64 auxiliaries. Their usual apostolates were visit to the
sick, especially senior citizens, PWD, and crowed apostolate. A legionary prayed for
healing of a sick elderly and also prepared her to receive the sacrament of reconciliation
and holy communion.
Some of the members attended the ACIES during the pandemic.
They plan to recruit more active and auxiliary members.

b. Cause of our joy – Iguig: The praesidium is composed of 6 members with 4 auxiliaries.
There are 2 members who are catechists. They prepared Grade 4 and 5 pupils for their
first holy communion. They were able to prepare 408 pupils from 7 elementary schools
for First Holy Communion.
c. Gate of Heaven – Linao ;
The Praesidium is composed of 8 active members. Their apostolate consists of home
visitations, to campaign for mass attendance, marriage validation and baptism, praying for the
dead and wake.
They plan to continue recruiting “live-in partners” to receive the Sacrament of
Matrimony. They had their praesidium function despite the pandemic.

9. Catena Legions
Everyone stood up to pray the Catena Legions led by Sis. Isabel

10. Allocutio;
The allocution was given by Sis. Isabel. She said that the object of the Legion of Mary is
the Glory of God. Legionaries promote the Glory of God thru a life of holiness developed
by prayer and active service for the Church. Hence legionaries should render service for
God And not for selfish interest.
The spirit of the Legion Is Mary herself and the spirit of Mary is characterized by her
profound humility, perfect obedience, angelic sweetness, spotless purity, heroic patience,
self-sacrificing, courageous love of God and Above all her faith.
Every legionary need not to be afraid of anything and must believe and whatever is
the assignment , difficult as it may be, everything is possible. Let us have a genuine
devotion to Mary and entrust our life to her motherly care.
11. Points stressed from Senatus and Comitium was read by Sis. Betty Flores, our
Treasurer.

12. Visitation of Curia and Praesidia


Sis. Isabel requested by Sis. Mila Carlos, The Vice Pres. to organize the visitation
team among all the vice pres. of curia & praesidia.

13. On Patrician; Sis Prudenciana Nadal was requested to organize the Patrician.

14. Concluding Prayer


Everyone knelt down for the Concluding prayer led by Sis. Isabel. This Was followed
by the prayer to Frank Duff.

15. Adjournment ; The meeting ended at 12:00 noon.
