WHAT IS AI ??
Artificial intelligence is a scientific
idea which refers to the creation
and development of computers and
machine that can perform, process
and make decisions independently
of human input or interaction. To
put it in simpler terms, an artificial
intelligence system is one that can
think for itself, even at a very basic
level.
Who was the Father of AI?
The father of AI is a man by the name of John McCarthy. He was born in 1927 and
died in 2011. McCarthy was an American computer scientist and cognitive
scientist.

When was the AI Invented?

The term “AI” was first coined by John McCarthy in 1955 at the Dartmouth Conference,
where he proposed it as an area of study. One of the earliest examples is the Turk, a
chess-playing machine built in 1770 by Wolfgang von Kempelen. The Turk could beat
most human opponents, but it was later revealed that a hidden human operator was
controlling the moves.
History of AI
The history of artificial intelligence (AI) is a long and complicated one. It began with the ancient
Greeks, who were the first to develop concepts that would later be used in AI. The Greek
philosophers Aristotle and Plato both had ideas that would eventually be used in AI. Aristotle
proposed the idea of using mechanical devices to automate tasks, while Plato suggested that
people could be taught to use reason like a machine. These ideas were later developed by other
thinkers, including René Descartes, Gottfried Leibniz, and Immanuel Kant. However, it was not
until the early 1800s that AI truly began to take shape.

First Artificial Intelligence System

First Artificial Intelligence In 1950, Alan Turing published a paper entitled “Computing
Machinery and Intelligence” in which he proposed a test for artificial intelligence (AI). The
Turing Test, as it came to be known, is a simple but effective way to determine whether or not a
computer can think like a human. If a computer can pass the Turing Test, then it is said to have
AI. The first AI program was written by British mathematician and codebreaker Alan Turing in
1951. He called it the Manchester Baby.
Three Main
Types of AI:
1. Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI)
2. Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)
3. Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI)
Artificial Narrow Intelligence
Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI), also known as
Narrow AI or Weak AI, is a type of Artificial Intelligence
focused on one single narrow task. It possesses a
narrow-range of abilities. This is the only AI in existence
today, for now. Narrow AI is something most of us
interact with on a daily basis. Think of Google Assistant,

Artificial General Intelligence
When we talk about Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)
we refer to a type of AI that is about as capable as a
human. However, AGI is still an emerging field. Since the
human brain is the model to creating General
Intelligence, it seems unlike that will happen relatively
soon because there is lack of a comprehensive

What is an AI Tool
An AI tool is a software application that
uses artificial intelligence algorithms to
perform specific tasks and solve problems.
AI tools can be used in a variety of
industries, from healthcare and finance to
marketing and education, to automate
tasks, analyze data, and improve decision-
making.
Top AI Tools
ChatGPT

Character AI
CapCut
Hugging Face
Google Bard
NovelAI
Civitai
ChatGPT
ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is a chatbot
developed by OpenAI and launched on November 30, 2022. Based
on a large language model, it enables users to refine and steer a
conversation towards a desired length, format, style, level of detail,
and language. Successive prompts and replies, known as prompt
engineering, are considered at each conversation stage as a context

Character AI
Launched in September 2022, Character AI is a chatbot that uses a
neural language model to allow users to find or create a character to
interact with. The characters on the site include characters based on
books, TV shows, and movies, as well as real people.
QuillBOT
Quillbot is an online writing assistant that launched in 2017.
The tool paraphrases and restructures text, helping users
improve their content. The tools also check grammar,
detects plagiarism, and can translate text into various other
languages.

Hugging Face
Hugging Face is an AI-based data science platform and
community that enables users to build, train, and deploy ML
models based on open-source code and technologies, share
ideas, and contribute to projects.
Google Bard
Google’s AI chatbot, Bard, is a collaborative chat tool that was
announced in February 2023 and launched in March 2023. The
primary difference between Bard and ChatGPT is that Bard
sources information from the web. And unlike ChatGPT and
Microsoft Bing, Bard was trained on Google’s own LLMs –
Language Model for Dialogue Applications and PaLM 2.

Novel AI
NovelAI is a paid monthly subscription service that provides an
AI writing assistant for storytelling and text-to-image
synthesis. The writing tool was launched in beta in June 2021,
and the image generation tool was added in October 2022.
Civitai
Launched in November 2022, Civitai is a repository for AI art models
created for Stable Diffusion, a text-to-image diffusion model. The
platform has an extensive collection of models that users can
search and customize, making it easy to share and rate custom
models, textual inversions, and more

CapCut
NCapCut is an all-in-one AI platform that enables users to design
images, edit, and generate videos within browsers. Launched in 2020,
CapCut received a total traffic of 203.8 million in the year to August,
with 17 million average monthly visits, contributing 0.84% to the
overall traffic.
