Subject: EXTENSION IN IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD OF KACHHI CANAL

PROJECT DERA GHAZI KHAN

PC-I of Kachhi Canal Project was approved by ECNEC for irrigation of land
of District Dera Bugti. The DDWP of Ministry of Water Resources in its Meeting granted
Extension in Implementation Period of Kachhi Canal Project within approved Cost &
Scope of Work.
The PSDP Allocation for the current year is Rs. 500 Million for Kachhi
Canal Project. The Project is advance stage of completion. In the aforesaid scenario,
the necessity for Extension in the Implementation Period of the Project is quite
indispensable.
In view of the above, it is requested that approval for Extension in the
Implementation Period of Kachhi Canal Project within approved Cost and Scope of
Work may kindly be accorded. The Proforma for Extension in Implementation Period of
the Project is attached.
