U/S 270A OF THE ACT FOR THE A.Y. 2018-19 IN CASE OF KAWAR SINGH (PAN:

The assessment in the captioned case was completed u/s 147 vide order dated 29/03/2024. The
assessment in the above case was completed and demand of Rs.22,780/- was created. The
penalty proceedings u/s 274 r.w.s. 270A of the act were initiated.

In respect of the above, we wish to submit that we have not filed any appeal against the
assessment order and have paid the taxes and interest payable as determined in the assessment
order. Copy of challan of Rs. 22,780/- is enclosed. Copy of requisite Form no. 68 is enclosed.

In view of provisions of section 270AA of the Act, you are requested to drop the captioned
penalty proceedings.
