Activity: In groups, students worked collaboratively to write a script for a news
programme. They had to focus on the use of register, fact and opinion, stereotypes and generalisations, tone and diction. Students had to incorporate a variety of roles into their news programme and were free to add extras. They then performed this live for the rest of their class.
