Rawalpindi Punjab Pakistan Punjab Emergency Service Department (Rescue
1122) accepted challenge of establishing first modern Fire Service in Pakistan.
The establishment of this modern fire service have been possible by the support
from Strathclyde Fire & Rescue Serice of Scotland, United Kingdom which trained
the first batch of officers. • • • • • • • • • • • • •
Collaborated with a team of firefighters to successfully extinguish fires,
minimizing property damage and preventing further harm to personnel and
community.
Prevented fire damage by conducting surveys and inspections for
hazards,enforcing government codes. Prepared citizens to prevent fire damage
by running several training programs. Ensured availability of water at fire scenes.
Minimized fire damage by responding to alarm,operating fire equipment
efficient,regulating fire pressure and rescuing and reviving people.
Provided information by completing reports. Contributed to a team effort by
