Sir,

It is to submit that, in the ref (1) cited, the Chief Engineer/Rural Zone has submitted a
proposal for diversion of 1No. 10 MVAR Capacitor bank from 132KV SS Manoharabad to
132KV SS Palamakula to the Chief Engineer/Transmission.

Subsequently, vide ref (2) cited, approval was accorded by the Chief Engineer/
Transmission for diversion of idle 10MVAR Capacitor bank along with yard equipment
structures and panel from 132KV SS Manoharabad to 132KV SS Palamakula duly taking
10MVAR Capacitor bank in service by procuring 96Nos. Capacitor cells and unbalance current
relay.

Further, vide ref (3) cited, the Superintending Engineer/OMC Circle/Sangareddy has
addressed the Chief Engineer/Rural Zone stating that the 10MVAR capacitor bank is not
diverted from 132KV SS Manoharabad to 132KV SS Palamakula as the estimate for erection and
procurement of 10MVAR capacitor bank at 132KV SS Palamkula under PSDF was submitted.

In this regard, it is to submit that, AE/M/132KV SS Palamkula on Dtd: 29.04.2024 has

visited the 132KV SS Manoharabad for inspecting the allotted 10MVAR Capacitor bank and the
following report is submitted for perusal:
