MUSIC
Filipino music is a delightful mix of indigenous instruments, Various coutries
influence and modern sounds.
 MUSH-UPS: a piece of music created by digitally overlaying an
instrumental track with a vocal track from a different recording.
 REMIX: a remix (or reorchestration) is a piece of media which has been
altered or contorted from its original state by adding, removing, or changing
pieces of the item. A song, piece of artwork, book, poem, or photograph can
all be remixes. The only characteristic of a remix is that it appropriates and
changes other materials to create something new.
 Lo-Fi: also typeset as lofi or low-fi; short for low fidelity is a music or
production quality in which elements usually regarded as imperfections in
the context of a recording or performance are present, sometimes as a
deliberate choice.
 SONG COVER: a cover version, cover song, remake, revival, or simply
cover is a new performance or recording by a musician other than the
original performer or composer of the song Originally, it referred to a
version of a song released around the same time as the original in order to
compete with it. Now, it refers to any subsequent version performed after the
original.
DANCE
is an art form, often classified as a sport, consisting of sequences of body
movements with aesthetic and often symbolic value, either improvised or
purposefully selected.
 BUDOTS - is a grassroots electronic dance music (EDM) genre that
originated in Davao City, Philippines, and is considered as street style
hiphop [clarification needed]. It eventually spread in Bisaya-speaking
regions. Based on house music and Sama-Bajau tangonggo rhythms, it is
regarded as the first "Filipino- fied" electronic music, characterized by its
heavy use of percussion, hypnotic bass, high-pitched "tiw ti-ti-tiw" whistle
hooks, and organic noises that surround the city. [2] It is created to
complement a form of freestyle street dance that bears the same name.
 Hip-Hop Dance Styles in the Philippines: Hip-hop dance is popular
among Filipino youth and is performed to its own genre of music. It
encompasses various styles, including b-boying, locking, and popping.
 B-boying, also known as break dancing, is an upbeat athletic dance style
often performed to hip hop music. It's a great way to get fit and express
yourself through movement
 Locking is a style of funk dance, which is today also associated with hip
hop. The name is based on the concept of locking movements, which means
freezing from a fast movement and "locking" in a certain position, holding
that position for a short while and then continuing at the same speed as
before.
 Popping- Popping is centered around the technique of "popping", which
means to quickly contract and relax muscles to create a jerking effect (a
"pop" or "hit") in the body.
LITERATURE
 Pop culture significantly influences literature by shaping themes, styles, and
storytelling techniques. It provides writers with inspiration from popular
media, influences their writing style, and influences the way stories are told.
Pop culture often incorporates societal values and motifs, providing insight
into the cultural context. Additionally, it has changed the way audiences

ANIME
 Anime has inspired a new generation of writers and artists, both in Japan and
internationally. Many creators cite anime as a major influence on their work,
leading to the creation of literature that is heavily inspired by anime's visual
style, storytelling techniques, and themes.
 Anime has had a significant impact on popular culture, influencing trends in
fashion, music, and art. Many elements of anime, such as character designs,
slogan, and iconic scenes, have become ingrained in popular culture and are
often referenced in literature and media
POETRY
 Poetry often challenges and expands the boundaries of language, introducing
new words, phrases, and stylistic devices. Poets experiment with different
forms and structures, such as sonnets, haikus, and free verse, creating a rich
tapestry of linguistic expression.
 Poetry has inspired other forms of literature, such as prose, drama, and song
lyrics. Many novelists, playwrights, and musicians have drawn inspiration

MANGA
 Manga, a form of Japanese comic books or graphic novels, has significantly
influenced literature through its unique visual storytelling style, diverse
genres and themes, and cultural exchange. Manga's popularity has
transcended borders, influencing artists, writers, and storytellers worldwide.
Its format and style make it accessible to readers of all ages and
backgrounds, allowing for ongoing narratives and pushing the boundaries of
the medium. Manga's global influence and innovative storytelling continue
to shape the world of literature and inspire creators worldwide.
WATTPAD
 Novels have significantly influenced literature by shaping narrative
techniques, exploring human experiences, expanding literary themes, and
influencing language and writing style. They have shaped the way stories are
told, exploring themes like love, loss, identity, and societal issues. Novels
also have a significant impact on language and writing style, with their
innovative use of language and vivid descriptions pushing the boundaries of
literary art. They also reflect societal changes, providing valuable insights
into historical events, cultural norms, and social issues. Overall, novels
continue to captivate readers and inspire writers to explore new possibilities
in storytelling.
ARCHITECTURE
 Architecture in popular culture refers to the portrayal and influence of
architectural design, styles, and structures in mainstream media,
entertainment, and society. This includes iconic buildings, landmarks, and
urban landscapes that have become widely recognized and celebrated.
 Modern architecture in the Philippines is characterized by its use of new
materials and technologies, such as reinforced concrete, steel, and glass. It is
also known for its clean lines, minimalist design, and lack of ornamentation.
 Tropical architecture arranging architectural elements to combat specific
tropical weather conditions. Filipino design emphasizes airy, bright, and
open living spaces.

expected to reshape the future. This includes increased use of technology
such as virtual and augmented reality, 360-degree video experiences, Al, and
on-demand content.
 Visual effects (VFX) is the creation or manipulation of any on-screen
imagery that does not physically exist in real life. VFX allows filmmakers to
create environments, objects, creatures, and even people that would
otherwise be impractical or impossible to film in the context of a live-action
shot. VFX can be used to recreate special effects shots such as rain, slow
motion, muzzle flashes, and explosions VFX can transport viewers to
otherworldly realms, transform the laws of physics, and push the boundaries
of storytelling in ways that traditional filmmaking cannot.
 Advances in Camera Technology Beyond VR and AR, advances in camera
technology are also transforming film production. From high-definition
digital cameras to Al-powered video editing tools, these advancements are

process.

VISUAL ART

 Digital art refers to any artistic work or practice that uses digital technology

MURAL PAINTING
 A mural is described as a huge wall- sized painting used to impart messages
to the public. A new form of mural which is a portable mural, was developed
in order to prevent the mural from being erased from the wall which was
created by using bold strokes in applying bright colors on pieces of
cheesecloth or canvas.
LIGHT PAINTING
 is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a
hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph. The effect
produced can range from subtle illumination to bright and colorful abstract
patterns.
PERFORMANCE ART
 is an artwork or art exhibition created through actions executed by the artist
or other participants. It may be witnessed live or through documentation,
spontaneously developed or written, and is traditionally presented to a public
in a fine art context in an interdisciplinary mode
