• Body regions:
1. Sagittal plane (median):

Divides the body into Right & Left portions.

2. Coronal plane (frontal):

Divides the body or any of its parts into Anterior & Posterior (front & back) portions.

3. Transverse plane (horizontal):

Divides the body or any of its parts into Upper & Lower portions.
• Body cavities:
1. Carnal cavity: ‫تجويف الجمجمة‬

2. Spinal cavity: ‫تجويف العمود الفقري‬

3. Thoracic Cavity: ‫تجويف القفص الصدري‬

4. Pleural cavity: ‫التجويف الجانبي‬
