Digestive system ‫الجهاز الهضمي‬

This system consist continues tube with two end tube from mouth till anus.
.‫يتكون هذا النظام من أنبوب مستمر ذو طرفين من الفم حتى فتحة الشرج‬
This system consist of : ‫يتكون هذا النظام من‬

1)oral cavity ( buccal cavity or mouth ) ‫)تجويف الفم (تجويف الشدق أو الفم‬
2)pharynx ‫البلعوم‬
3) esophagus ‫المريء‬
4) stomach ‫المعدة‬
5) small intestine ‫األمعاء الدقيقة‬
6) large intestine ‫األمعاء الغليظة‬
7) anal canal ‫القناة الشرجية‬
8) accessory glands ( liver ,gall bladder and pancreas )
)‫الغدد الملحقة (الكبد والمرارة والبنكرياس‬
We will study all these parts ‫وسوف ندرس كل هذه األجزاء‬
esophagus : it is muscular tube just for food passage its length 25cm extend
from pharynx to stomach ,here it involuntary movement to descend food to
the stomach.

stomach (gastric )
consist of 4 region( cardia ,fundus ,body and pylorus)

small intestine is about 5.5-6 m in length and fill most part of
abdomen. it consist of :

duodenum , jejunum and ileum ‫االثني عشر والصائم واللفائفي‬

duodenum is fixed C- shape structure and about 25cm in length .

large intestine its length about 1.5 m ‫ متر‬1.5 ‫األمعاء الغليظة طولها حوالي‬

it consist of : ‫انه يتكون من‬

a. Caecum
b. Colon (ascending ,transverse ,descending sigmoid colon)
c. Rectum

Caecum it is 1 part of large and it has worm like tube projected
down from it called (Appendix)
‫األعور هو الجزء األول من الحجم الكبير وله أنبوب يشبه الدودة يبرز منه إلى األسفل‬

Liver –it is largest internal organ ‫ هو أكبر عضو داخلي‬- ‫الكبد‬
Gall bladder is a pear-like shape sac ‫المرارة هي كيس على شكل كمثرى‬
Pancreas consist of head, body and tail ‫يتكون البنكرياس من الرأس والجسم والذيل‬
Head and body located in C-shape of duodenum Pancreas with
‫ من االثني عشر مع البنكرياس‬C ‫الرأس والجسم يقعان على شكل حرف‬
1- Endocrine function secretes (insulin)
2- Exocrine function secretes (digestive Enzyme)
