Temperature

Temperature is a numerical measure of hot and cold. Weather stations use thermometers to
measure how hot or how cold the air is in their surroundings.

TO DO!

Facts:

 The diurnal or daily range of temperature is the difference between the maximum and
minimum temperature for a particular day.

eg. 32 degrees celsius - 30 degrees = 2 degrees celsius

 The mean or average daily temperature is found by adding the maximum and minimum
temperatures for a particular day and dividing the total by 2.
eg. 32 + 30 = 62
2 2 = 31 degrees celsius

 The mean annual temperature is the difference between the highest mean monthly
temperature and the lowest mean monthly temperature.
eg. 33 degrees (July) - 27 degrees (January) = 6 degrees celsius

So, what is the mean monthly temperature?

It is: the daily averages for the entire month divided by the number of days in that said month

An isotherm is a line drawn on maps joining places with the same temperature.
