II. Reflection

The transition from the academic world to the professional realm can be challenging.
Gratefully, a series of carefully chosen webinars can equip me with the knowledge and skills
necessary for a smooth and successful start-up. I just started a journey of self-improvement by
taking part in a collection of educational webinars that were intended to provide individuals like
me with the courage to successfully navigate the professional environment.

Even though I have a basic understanding of several business principles, I have made an
effort to learn more about certain topics. I had previously studied the complexities of partnership
dissolution and liquidation, as well as the fundamentals of foreign exchange transactions,
derivatives, and hedging techniques. Therefore, I attended the necessary seminars not to learn
something completely new, but to improve my understanding of these important subjects and
obtain a more delicate perspective. My effort to search for a deeper comprehension is a reflection
of my dedication to lifelong learning, which is an essential quality for success in the rapidly
changing world of work today.

The Junior People Management Association of the Philippines' webinar "Career Takeoff:
Preparing to Land in the Professional Realm" offers advice on how to adjust to work schedules,
workplace culture, and expectations in a professional setting. It also covers how to find job
openings through online platforms and professional networks. The webinar covers communication,
teamwork, problem-solving, time management, and other essential skills for success in any
organization.

Ateneo de Davao University's session entitled UtACCay: The Great Accounting Showdown
2024 - Accounting Crash Course acts as a starting point by giving students a fundamental
understanding of accounting concepts. I am able to evaluate financial figures, which is a critical
skill in any business setting because to this crash course. Understanding record-keeping and
budgeting procedures would enable me to make well-informed judgments in my personal and
professional life.

The topics of business accounting and financing are covered in the next two webinars
which is the Forex Transactions, Derivatives & Hedging, and Partnership Dissolution and
Liquidation that is all provided by REO CPA REVIEW. The first discusses how businesses handle
currency changes and reduce financial risks, even if you decide against a career in finance. The
second session focuses at the financial and legal consequences of liquidating a company. Despite
its clear specific expertise, this course of study provides useful knowledge on resolving potential
legal problems, managing financial settlements, and analyzing contracts. These abilities are
applicable in a variety of work settings, including project management and entrepreneurship. My
understanding of partnership dissolution and liquidation has improved greatly as an outcome of
REO CPA Review. Even though partner settlement calculations can be challenging the program
gave me the knowledge I was looking for. REO's method of breaking down the process into
manageable steps definitely helped me to understand it.

The recent webinar, "Insight to Experience: A Way to Succeed" hosted by the Junior
Philippine Association of Management Accountants - Batangas State University TNEU ARASOF-
Nasugbu, served as a wellspring of motivation and optimism for my future endeavors. It
completely changed the way I saw failure, from a terrifying wall to an important turn along the
way to achievement.I found great meaning in the idea that failures are opportunities for
development rather than obstacles.My confidence was strengthened by the webinar's discussion
about the value of faith and determination. It brought attention to the reality that self-confidence is
an essential element of success. When combined with unwavering determination, this inherent trust
serves as a foundation during the inevitable storms of working life. It gives me the courage and
resilience to keep going despite of difficulties and disappointments because I believe I can
overcome them.

By taking part in these webinars, I am able to get a plan of action for managing the
challenging and exciting world of professional jobs. I'll put myself on the path to long-term success
and continuous progress in my chosen field by continuously putting the knowledge I've learned
into action and looking for additional opportunities to get practical expertise. A lifelong process of
learning is required to reach professional fulfillment. I need to embark on difficulties, retain my
curiosity, and make ongoing investments in my personal growth.
