(Jenelle) Good day to everyone, especially to our research panelist Mr. Isagani L. Cabanlong. I am Jenelle Christime M.

Pagtacunan and I would like to great you all a pleasant day. We will be presenting a propose study entitled “The Effects of
Electronic Attendance using QR Code of Grade 12-GAS Student’s Check-In Efficiency in Mataas Na Kahoy National
High School” together with my groupmates.

INTRODUCTION (ryza)
Taking students’ attendance by teachers during each class is a time-consuming process especially when classes are big.
Attendance is an integral part of education, In other words, the student attendance system is used to measure student participation
in a classroom. Also, the attendance count is very important, and teachers need to be more careful about taking attendance
manually and before the pandemic, attendance was taken on sheets or by roll call. The education industry was at a halt when the
pandemic hit us, and the QR code has seen people become more useful. However, we relied on technology and became familiar
with online learning and an online attendance management system.
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY (Ryza)
We prompted to conduct this research, for us to evaluate the “Effects of Electronic Attendance using QR Code of
Grade 12-GAS Student’s Check-In Efficiency in Mataas Na Kahoy National High School”. We specifically, come up with
this study to:

 determine the effect of electronic attendance using QR code

• assess the student’s satisfaction with the electronic attendance system
• identify the benefits of using the electronic attendance system
Now let’s proceed to the Statement of the Problem (Irish)
By using Qr Code system instead of manual such as, taken on sheets or by roll call it might benefits teachers and
students to reduce time consuming and focus on study. Through scanning a unique QR code before entering a classroom, students
can quickly and easily verify that they are present in the classroom and the teacher can start teaching right away. This system
helps to ensure that all students are present in the classroom on time and eliminates the need for manual attendance or paper-based
systems. This study aims to assess The Effect of Electronic Attendance using QR Code of Grade 12-GAS Student’s Check-In
Efficiency in Mataas Na Kahoy National High School specifically to seek the answers to the following queries:

1. What are the effects of implementing electronic attendance using QR code on the check-in efficiency of Grade 12-GAS
students in Mataas Na Kahoy National High School?
1.1. Time saved
1.2. Accuracy
1.3. Efficiency
1.4. Usability

2. Are there any implications of finding of the effects of electronic attendance using QR code to the student’s check-in
efficiency?
Significance of the Study (Jenelle)
Manual methods of taking attendance have been proven to be difficult and time-consuming, so there is a need for an automated
system. This study introduced an automated attendance system that uses QR codes to track and monitor students' attendance. It
was designed to make the monitoring of the student's attendance faster, more accurate, more consistent, and more effective. This
study specifically aims to determine the Effect of Electronic Attendance using QR Code of Grade 12-GAS Student’s Check-In
Efficiency in Mataas Na Kahoy National High School. It is written in descending order starting from the entity that benefits most:
To Students (Miguel): This study will help students become more organized and on time for their classes, as well as provide
them with a safe, secure, and efficient way to check in for their classes.
To Teachers (Rendelle): This study will help teachers become more organized and efficient when tracking students’ attendance,
as well as give them more information about their student’s attendance patterns.
To Parents (Denver): This study will provide parents with more insight into their child’s attendance rate and provide them with a
tool to monitor their child’s attendance more effectively.
To Future Researchers (Estevan): This study will provide future researchers with an in-depth understanding of the effectiveness
of an electronic attendance system using QR codes and provide them with a starting point for further research.
Scope and Limitation (Melvin)
This study will be conducted during second semester 2022-2023 at Mataas na Kahoy National High School at Brgy. Mataas na
Kahoy, General Mamerto Natividad, Nueva Ecija. The researcher will select grade 12 GAS Senior High School students of
Mataas na Kahoy National High School to be the respondents of the study.
This research will only focus on determining the effects of electronic attendance using QR Code. Furthermore, it will
also encompass the students’ opinion on the said technology and their willingness to use it.
Conceptual Framework (Jenelle) Conceptual Framework It is consist of relevant variables of the study and maps out, how they
might relate to each other,

The researchers employ an IPO model, which stands for input, process, and output for easy understanding. The input consists of
What are the effects of implementing electronic attendance using QR codes on the check-in efficiency of Grade 12-GAS students
in Mataas Na Kahoy National High School, as well as the time saved, accuracy, efficiency, and usability of the process? After the
data gathering procedure using the survey questionnaire and evaluation and analysis of the system and statistical survey result, the
output is to determine the effects of electronic attendance using the QR Code System and encourage teachers to implement the QR
Code-Based Attendance System.

Research Locale ( Estevan)

The study was conducted at Mataas na Kahoy National High School at Brgy. Mataas na Kahoy, General Mamerto Natividad,
Nueva Ecija.
Methodology (Estevan)
In order to analyze and interpret the data, this chapter represents the methods in conducting this study including the
techniques for collecting data.
Research Design (Westlei)
In this study, the researchers will use the descriptive method in gathering data and the use of a questionnaire as an
instrument.
This method is suited to study to determine the effects of Electronic Attendance Systems using QR Codes in Check-In
Efficiency for Grade 12 GAS Senior High School Students.
Data Gathering Procedure (Denver)
Data will be gathered by the researchers using a questionnaire. The researchers asked permission from the respondents to
answer the questionnaire before answering the questionnaire form. The researchers explained the objectives of the study and why
they used to answer the given questionnaire.
The Instruments (Leo, Vm)
The researchers will use a questionnaire at their study to determine the respondent’s extent of agreement with the
statement. The following statistical procedures were used to interpret the data gathered from the study's participants.
The Respondents (Baron)
The respondents involve are the Grade 12- GAS Senior High School Students of Mataas Na Kahoy National High
School.
Sampling Design (Evelyn)
The target of the study was the Grade 12 GAS Senior High School Students of Mataas Na Kahoy National High School.
The researchers will use the total population of Grade 12-GAS Senior High School students of Mataas Na Kahoy National High
School.
Ethical Consideration (Irish)
