 Options For Concrete Pour At Raw Meal Silo Pile Cap

OPTION 1

• Concrete will be poured by dividing the pile cap in three sections of 1m

each
• Each section will be of 1000 m3 (Approx.) concrete in layers.
• Each succeeding layer within each sectional pour will be restricted to time
span of 60 minutes to avoid the formation of cold joints.

OPTION 2
• Concrete will be poured by dividing the pile cap into two sections.
• The sections will be of 2 meter and 1 meter as shown below.
• Each succeeding layer within each sectional pour will be restricted to time
span of 60 minutes to avoid the formation of cold joints .
• 2000 m3 (Approx.) and 1000 m3 (Approx) of concrete will be poured in
sections of 2m and 1m respectively.

 Pour Plan
• The concrete quantity of the pile cap structure is approximately 3200 m3
(Approx.)
• It will be done by three dedicated teams.
• Three stationary pumps will be deployed as mentioned
• Total 14 transit mixers will take part in the pouring activity
• 4 batching plants will be in operation and will supply concrete volume of
60-90 m3/h
• Two mobile pumps will be on stand-by mode and during the activity and
will be used as per requirement.
