Free Pattern: Raven Amigurumi

A 7" tall amigurumi of a raven. The pattern is available as a PDF on Ravelry or you can find it written below. If you have any
questions feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

Haven't had the time to make a new pattern recently, so here is an older one. Because he is so dark I have included outlines of
the feathers to make them easier to see.

Materials:
▪ Worsted weight yarn in black, dark grey
▪ F hook (3.75 mm)
▪ Stuffing
▪ 12 mm safety eyes
▪ Scissors
▪ Tapestry needle

Difficulty: Easy
You should know how to work in the round, increase, and decrease.

Pattern:
This is an icrochetthings original pattern © 2014-2016. Do not claim as your own. Do not copy, sell, or distribute this pattern.
Do not sell any products made from this pattern.

i"ve noticed that you have left out the head and beak from this tutorial but they are in the ravelry download, i would suggest
updating the post to include them so as not to confuse people.

Is there any sort of estimate on yardage used? I'm really interested in the pattern, and I think I have enough yarn but am
unsure.

Hi,
I love the pattern! I'm making this for a friend of mine who absolutely loves ravens but I'm a little confused by the pattern. By
(inc) around do you mean 2 sc in each stitch?

Hello! Yes, [inc] around means to do 2 single crochet in each stitch of the round.

Thanks! I was having a blonde moment lol. On the ravelry pattern there's a typo in the right wing instructions. The
2nd chain 4 is on the wrong line. It should be the one above it but it might be easier to just make 2 left wings and
attach the other one the opposite way. I'm almost finished the raven now but I seem to be having trouble with the
legs. I just can't seem to get them right, so I used the same start as the beak but only used 5 st. I figure since they
will be sewn on and you can't see the ends it doesn't make much difference

Thank you so much! I adapted to make a cardinal (bird) for my friend who teaches at a school that has the cardinal as their
mascot. She is using it in her 2nd grade class as a room-mascot. The kids love it. They named it "Hermie," and it sits on the
desk of anyone who has done an especially good job on their work. :-)

Hello, I am terribley confused! I have the version of the Raven that on round 13 It says "15 sc, ch 7, (sc) across the chs, sc in
the next st, 14 sc, (sc,dec) six times (48). Okay I sc 15 then ch 7 now what do I do?? Do I attach the ch 7?? What does the
rest mean. I know I am tired so I apologize for my confusion but I can't figure this out Thank you! ariadnedesarro@yahoo.ie

Okay now that I have looked at this version it is quite a bit different than the one off Ravelry. I like the fuller body but....
