Neighborhood families create strong relationships with their neighbors through frequent

However, a sizeable segment of the public is still uninvolved and does not belong to these
groups; their knowledge is largely passive, and they only sometimes engage in active

OCTOBER 12, • First day of CHN2 I was excited to go out and socialize with some

for safety and professionally so that I could represent

people, I left the house early as the required time to
be more prepared in the area, and as i arrive alot of
them are there already, minutes a go my beloved

walked I saw the difference from the place where I
lived . The pathway was extremely limited, wet and
it was slippery. Knowing what the people who live in
Riverside do for a living or how they live here was
extremely educational, even though we had all of this
at the same time as our tiredness. This day, it was
quite worn out. We won't be doing as much physical

MY OVERALL REFLECTION/INSIGHTS ON MY 6 DAYS ROTATION TO CHN 2 IN BRGY.

SAN ISIDRO

We have completed our final duty as community health nurses in Barangay San Isidro as of today. It's a
time when I can think about and gain understanding. I have learned a great deal and had a ton of
experiences over the past two weeks as we went into the middle of this battling community. I am
certain that, after just six days on the duty at San Isidro, I learned enough to be useful as my own guide
for the rest of my journey. To interact with the other person, to put sympathy to their problems to
socialize to the person that i never seen before, although it has been challenging but then its worthwhile
because i have all learned a lot and had a chance to understand what it's really to work as a public
health nurse and to be able to conquer my low communication level and able to sustain my shyness that
helps and taught me to push myself more as a healthcare professional thanks to the opportunity it
allowed me to experience it.
