A consumer is a person who buys goods or uses services. Almost all

people are consumers. Everyone buys products like foods, medicines, clothes,
furniture, appliances, or gadgets. Services people avail of are those of doctors
and nurses, teachers, plumbers, spa attendants, among others.

Almost every day, people become consumers of goods and services.

Being such, they must be aware of the maximum benefits they can get from
the products they buy and services they avail of. They should see to it that
the things they buy or the services they avail do not have adverse effects on
their physical health.

Consumers like you need to be protected against defective products or

misleading services. You need to know where to go to complain about expired
goods or services you may have bought. You must know what to do to replace
these goods or where to get genuine goods or services.

As a consumer, it is important that you consider your health when

buying things, you need at home or in school. You should think about some
aspects of your health that may be affected by the products that you buy.
